Hi Friends,

Thanks for all the entries on the last challenge, they were really fun and and weddings are one of my favorite places to be

Are you one of those folks that likes to be at weddings to?

DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #118

THEME:  USE PENS and SCRAPS

I made a fun card with a a Moroccan background which I downloaded from the silhouette America online store. I used a grey Cri-kits pen to draw the background onto a scrap of Bazzill white card stock. Yeah for me using some scrap!!

Here is a side view I gave the purple metallic apples dimension by popping them onto an outline of the same apple, this image is one of the sketch designs from Silhouette America on line store and  the Cri-kit pens are perfect for these designs I can't wait to find more so I can use my pens and pen holders.

If you look at the top of the apple just before the stem you can see the metallic on the apple.  I love how this came out the background looks like designer paper, but it was all done with the pens.
I hope you have fun making your project for the challenge. I am looking forward to seeing what you create.

Supplies used:
CRI Kits purple metallic pen to draw apples and grey pen the background
A2 size Harvest gold PTI card stock
Ribbon: apple green offray

  4. Fun & creative. Have a question the challenge indicates pens and wanted to know if that includes calligraphy pens or calligraphy markers? Figured since I like to do calligraphy I could add some calligraphy to a card. Please let me know.

  8. Awesome card!!! I think my cri-kits pens have probably dried up I haven't used them in so long! Thanks for making me remember them and the incentive to use them -- if I can!!! LOL!

  9. Hello Diana, love how you drew out your card, looks great. This is one of my favorite things to do. I have some of the glitter pens for Cricut and love to use them. Hope you've been well. I want to get in on this challenge...can't wait to make something. Thanks for the inspiration.

  11. Hi Diana, I just uploaded my third and final card for this challenge, really wanted to try to win this fantastic prize so made an effort on my recent cards to include a bit of doodling or faux stitching with pens and using up different scraps (always good to get rid of some craft stash). I love how you doodled your whole background, that must have taken a while but it looks fantastic! Have a great weekend, XOX Lucy
