Happy Monday Everyone,

August and May are the "BIG" birthday months in our family. We have a little guy on his way any day now, I'm hoping he comes on Thursday (although I'm sure the mom to be is ready now). Then my MIL, my niece and I can all share our B-day together would that be super fun!!

I'm making a few of these for our local  medical center mammography department this year to give out to the women who come in for their annual mammograms. These are really simple to make.
I have been making these little notebooks ever since I was a child, but over the years they look a bit more finished, so I feel I can give them as gifts, as small a gift as it is, I hope it will bring the recipient some joy.

These are really simple to make

 I cut 2 pieces each color at 3 x 4.5  ( to make 2)
 Lavender moon and aqua mist

I folded the top over 1.5 inches and trimmed the edge with a scalloped trimmer
I used ATG tape on the back to hold the flap down
and stapled the top on the back side so the points would not show
then I topped it with the die cut ribbon

the inserts are 2.75 x4.25 (10 sheets)

Have a blessed day, Diana
