It is another week for Team #2 over here at Celebrate the Occasion, my favorite. The theme this week is school is out and it must have an apple. I used 2 cartridges for this one. Locker talk for the board the small apple and the lettering in the front. For the apple on the left I used preserves. I used recollections paper and cuttle bug embossing folder for the background lettering  AC card stock for the black. My card stock for the card Non other than my favorite PTI and I have one sheet left you all know what that means ( time to order) The sentiment is from my computer and then matted on the patterned paper.
If you feel like a  good challenge check out the other designers and put together a project and link it up for a chance to win................the monthly prize

SUNDAY- Another Challenge

This worked out perfectly for me. We just found out a couple of weeks ago, one of our friends is retiring. This weeks challenge over at Celebrate the Occasion is themed "Retirement"  I needed this card  by this coming Tuesday so now it is finished.
This is the first I've used this cartridge Wrap it Up, and I really like it. It has a lot of  unique and useful images I may just be using it quite a bit. I hope you enjoy it, like I hope our friend will enjoy his retirement. Thanks for stopping by see you next time.

MORE---- MORE------FRIDAY- Birthday Sundays Challenge

This is for  Birthday Sundaes challenge the theme Pearls and lace. I'm thinking Hawaii right now. We are just not getting any summer weather here. I like the muted colors and I always like orange and brown together.
The patterned paper is from Me and my big ideas. The lace, I have had for years, it is probably some vintage stuff I should have never cut, but the color worked, and it has been in my sewing area for ever. I made the flower out of punches. Inkadinkadoo for the stamps, Stazon timber brown ink  and Call it a card
Oh yes, kraft paper from paper company for the A2 card stock. Have a great evening.

MORE --------FRIDAY----CAC & MPS stamp set punnylicious

I absolutely love this one. I think this little lamb is so cute. The color is super and I love the little pink bows.
I need to get some thank EWE cards out so I think I make do a few of these.

MORE---- THURSDAY- Cricut 360

Good Afternoon everyone,
I've had this idea ever since I saw the DT challenge opening for Cricut 360. I'm so glad Sonia gave us enough time for this. It gave me the opportunity  to finish up some other projects that were demanding my time. I have had this done for about a week and a half I just had too many other posts that needed to go up and I did not want to overwhelm anyone.  Especially myself.

So here is the recipe.
This is a 5x7 card Papertrey Inc. card stock
The background paper for the wall is K& Co. Brenda Walton Specialty paper
The little images are past posts that I have made for specific challenges and the the one in the bottom right hand corner is part of my pagoda series that you can view on You tube CLICK HERE for PART 1
The frames are from the Cindy Loo cartridge,

The cricut character is from: Cricut Decals (This was a preloaded cartridge that came with the CE2). Cricut head is cut out three times in black (AC card stock ) .  The type was printed on the computer and pasted on  Then, just to add a little whimsy I added the googly eyes.

I had so much fun making this card, and if you would like to see each individual picture they are on my posts, here are the links to each of them.

THURSDAY-- Creat-a-Critter with MPS stamp set punny-licious

These critters just keep coming-- not to worry I only have a few more stamps left to use. This is so fun, to use a set of stamps, completely. I will try to do this with every set. I'm not saying I will, I will just try. It is a good way to make use of the purchase by having a goal for them. Hope you enjoy I will see you later. I have another posting I will be doing.

More--TUESDAY Gratitude journal- Drawing ended at 6:00 pm.

This may sound kind of silly to some of you and I usually do not change my mind --mid stream, how I am going to do things, but because there were so few of you (12); I decided instead of doing a random drawing I would  send each of you the gratitude journal.
I love making them and I am grateful that there is a desire to want to have one and hopefully be inspired by writing in it. Once you get the journal if you have any questions about it please feel free to E-mail me. You might like to make your own.
Please send me your snail mail by e-mail so I can get your journal in the mail by Friday.

TUESDAY- random drawing

Good morning everyone,

I will be doing the random drawing for the gratitude journals later today. You still have time to leave a comment. Click on the journal to the right for  your entry.

HAPPY SUNDAY -------- Four Legged Friends and MPS stamp set series

Good morning  Everyone,
This is my NO legged friend from my Four Legged Friends  cartridge with My Pink Stamper stamp set Punny Licious.
I thought what better day to show a snake than on Sunday as a reminder-- of the story of Adam & Eve in the garden of Eden. This one probably lied to get on the 4 legged friend cartridge and said it had four legs.
It is actually a pretty good looking snake. It reminds me of when my nephew had one and my sister was looking all over the house for it, because it got out of its aquarium , it ended up, wrapped around the top of the washing machine

Whoooo loves you--- not the snake.  Remember they lie. Anyway, I hope you are still enjoying this series and not getting sick of it. I am just loving doing it. I love these papers and the images are great, and the stamps make my pitiful stamping skills look like I know what I'm doing-- Thank you Robyn, for the stamps you make..

This is  a post  Just to have you be aware-- If you know anything about RSD -- please share, The Theme Angel flame or both. This is part of a blog hop I was asked to be in-I'm still waiting for the links and the rest of the info
As info and links come in I will post:

1.
RSD--- You tube video

More info just in 2:24
2
rsd /crps doesnt own me

3 2:40 (Got this info from Michelles post)
Reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD), also called complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), is a chronic, painful, and progressive neurological condition that affects the skin, muscles, joints and bones. The syndrome usually develops in an injured limb, such as a broken leg (e.g., ankle fracture, or following surgery. However, many cases of RSD involve only a minor injury, such as a sprain (e.g., ankle sprain). And in some cases, no precipitating event can be identified.  ----
RSD/CRPS is characterized by various degrees of burning pain, excessive sweating, swelling, and sensitivity to touch. Pain may begin in one area or limb and then spread to other limbs. In some cases, symptoms of RSD/CRPS diminish for a period of time and then reappear with a new injury.
Type 1—without nerve injury
Type 2 (formerly called causalgia)—with nerve injury
Both types of RSD/CRPS share the same signs and symptoms.
Signs and Symptoms of RSD/CRPS

The symptoms of RSD/CRPS often progress in three stages—acute, dystrophic and atrophic.
The acute stage occurs during the first 1–3 months and may include
1. burning pain---
2. swelling
3. increased sensitivity to touch
4. increased hair and nail growth in the affected region
5. joint pain
6. color and temperature changes
The dystrophic stage may involve constant pain and swelling. The affected limb may feel cool to the touch and appear bluish in color. Muscle stiffness, wasting of the muscles (atrophy) and early bone loss (osteoporosis) also may occur. This stage usually develops 3–6 months after onset of the disorder.

During the atrophic stage, the skin becomes cool and shiny, increased muscle stiffness and weakness occur, and symptoms may spread to another limb.
Characteristic signs and symptoms of sympathetic nervous system involvement include the following:
1. Burning pain
2. Extreme sensitivity to touch--
3. Skin color changes (red or bluish)
4. Skin temperature changes (hot or cold)
Pain caused by RSD/CRPS usually in not proportionate to the degree of injury. It can be triggered by disuse of the affected limb or by stress and can be spontaneous or constant.
Symptoms associated with an immune reaction include:
1. Joint pain
2. Redness
3. Swelling (edema)
4. Frequent infections

Please leave a comment I will be doing a random drawing for this:

THURSDAY--

I hope you are all having a great day. I have a couple more challenges to enter this week and then I will finish up on the 1 month gratitude journals. I am also going to throw in some home made dimensional s  for that give away. I made this is for two challenges

Getting Cricky with K.Andrews   --- Theme: Retro father or dad card
and
Fantabulous Cricut challenge   Theme: use a triangle and a rectangle.

This is a 5x7 card
PTI
Ac cardstock
Core' dinations
The tie is really cool up close, it is cut out of foil paper

THURSDAY--

Good Morning,

The clouds in the sky were so beautiful yesterday, I  loved being outside. I was lucky to get to the gym also.
I think today I need to tackle the monster that is growing in my art studio. Yes I have been so busy designing that I have not been on top of getting things organized.  This is out of character.
I'm trying to bond with the CE2 and it is not happening.  I'm using it, but I'm also still using the expression, because I can use it a lot faster. I've actually got them both going at the same time while I'm working on the gypsy.
I have enough  designs to post for the rest of the week.

Does any one know where to get the scrap and tote and the best price on it?????

I'm also entering this in the Birthday Sundaes challenge  the theme is to use 3 CIRCLES
I call it the leaning tower of cake card. I really didn't want it leaning that far , but those home made dimensional s are really sticky, I don't mind it that far over. The Happy birthday comes from
The Hello Kitty greetings cartridge. I don't use that one to often. I remember when I first got it. I could not wait to get it and then I made a few cards and that was it.

I love the smile on this cakes face-- definately a happy birthday cake hope you enjoy.
See you later or tomorrow.

Thank you all so much  for thinking of me and sharing these wonderful awards

I couldn't post it until now because of blogger being down and getting caught up from my time away.

The Stipulations for this award is to share 5 Cricut Related things about yourself  (This is in honor of Cricut's 5th Anniversary).  I am to share this with 10 others that are creative.  Thanks again Gloria.  You are awesome and have shared some amazing work on your blog.  Please stop by  and see Glorias blog as well as the following recipients.

These are blogs that I visit frequently, so I am going to share in my good fortune these awards also.
I hope you will visit them and find them as much fun as I do.

Onto the 5 Cricut Related  things about myself:

1.My first cricut was the baby bug. It is still the baby of the family

2.The new arrival of the expression came about six months later, that was a surprise, but with the addition of tags bags boxes and more I just could not do with out adopting the expression. The boxes just came out too small with the baby bug.

3. About a year ago (a year and a half after the expression came), it seemed time for another addition. The gypsy was then added as a sibling. The other two feel a little left out the gypsy goes with me almost everywhere

4. There is no bickering amongst any of them right now they can all use each others cartridges. Which seems to be in excess of 100

5.The  Big brother arrived last week  C- E2, Haven't even named him yet  nor have we bonded.  They are all wondering when the imagine will appear on the scene.
