MOTHER'S DAY using a pen or a marker
of some sort.

I played around with the pens and found that I could get about thirty -six to 48 images like this out of one pen. If the image is more intricate I would imagine you would get less.  If you look close you can see the glittery effect. I really like them and enjoyed working with them.  The little deer image is from Cindy Loo. I haven't quite decided what I am going to do with these images, but you will be the first to know .

So, After I played around, I figured I would make another Mother's day card. This is black paper trey ink paper and I used the silver metallic pen. You can see how well it reproduces on the black. Anything you can cut with the cricut you can draw with the pens.  There is a technique you can use for drawing with the pens and then putting the blade back in and then cutting. I think that would be more easily explained in a video keep your eyes peeled that may be coming up soon. My Happy Mothers day below is from Floral Embellishments, cricut cartridge. This is the first time I have used this cartridge.

Then,  I used the pen to draw the lattice work  and then put the blade in to cut it out. The image is  from the letter envy cartridge.

Then the finale,  putting it all together. My card stock and ribbon are Paper trey ink. The white paper is Bazzill. The pearl is liquid pearl white opal. I really like the way it came out it has a nice formal look

I hope you enjoyed this post and I am looking forward to seeing your creative design and entry in this challenge.
