Thinking of You

The challenges that are open are the top 3 on my side bar

Dear Friends,

This is a happy time and a sad time for a lot of folks.  We enjoy the moment and the family and friends we have with  and around us now, but we tend to miss those that can not be with us or have passed on.  I know that is true for me. My father passed away in December a few years back and I always think of the fun Christmases that have passed, but I am looking forward to this one. I hope you are enjoying your Christmas Eve day.

I made this card for all of you that are missing your loved ones.  I hope you like it. I did not do it to make you feel sad, just to remember the joy of being with the person that you are missing or love.

PTI Smokey gray and Basic white
Blended background with Copic markers
Autumleaves stamps: Angels
Creative Inspirations: Jeweled inspirations

Now I have to get dressed and get out there and get some shopping done. Food that is --- I'm done with the other shopping.

Have a great and blessed day see you later, Diana

  2. When I read this post I could relate to it because my holidays are sad times. That's why I don't really celebrate them anymore. I love this beautiful card. Thank you so much for the thought.

  3. Beautiful beautiful - I think we can all relate in some ways. My Mum passed in 2003 and her birthday was yesterday - so I always find it hard this time of year. My children and my husband are the ones I have around me and that makes my Christmas so wonderful. Merry Christmas Diana. Hugs, Karon
