Good Morning Friends,

My Baby sister is having a Birthday next month, so I thought I would  make a card for her. So here it is.

I used all PTI products. except for the 3m foam tape to lift everything up and my ATG adhesive to to adhere it all to the card base
Lavender moon, dark chocolate, fine linen and classic kraft card stock

Here's some inspiration:

I started out with Vintage cream card stock A2 size. I got the digi's from The Alley Way stamps, and painted with the colors above. I matted them and then place them on the card stock. The designer paper is Basic Grey's haunted forrest

I hope you have enjoyed my project and will play along with this week's challenge!!

"100 Days of Tombow"

Good morning friends,

I have some exciting news, I am participating in the "100 Days of Tombow". This is Tombow's centennial year and by my participation they will donate $100 to the Council of Arts Education, a national non profit dedicated to promoting and supporting art education and quality art programs nationwide  Their goal is to raise $10,000 for this cause.

Last week I received these products. TOMBOW Irojiten color pencils in Rainforest Volume 1- pale tone 1

I also received , the Tombow dual brush set "GROOVY" collection - I love the colors - it comes with brown, green, orange, yellow, blue and red


I used every single color out of both packs, for this project

For the first girl I used. Narcissus P-3, for the crown. For the skirt I used coral and P-2) Aqua (P7) for the outline,
for the bodice and shoes  I used lilac P-9. For the hair I used pigeon gray and a little bit of forget-me-not (P-4)
For the skin I used every color in the set. I was trying to get a dark skin tone, it worked! the skin came out tan looking.

For this gal I was going for the mono tone look but at the end, I decided to add the red on the bow, with the dual tip pens and the dots are made with the green dual tip pen

For this gal, I was going for a party girl look that is why I did the fishnet stockings. I love the orange and blue together. I think she came out pretty good. She will probably have a lot of fun at the party. What do you think? party girl?


Now, for more more fun :

 
 The background was so much fun to do. The images are from the Silhouette online store, Hexagon and flower. I gave it dimension using  paste mixed with ink

My girl image is from Julie Nutting, They all like thier outfits.

I used the dual pen brush end to ink up the stamp, for my sentiment. The card stock & stamps (Asian Fusion) are from PTI-Card Stock- plum pudding, simply chartreuse, and lavender moon Asian Fusion and my twine is from The Twinery. I also added a mini jeweled red, green and blued AC elements brad to the top of each tag.

DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #118

THEME:  USE PENS and SCRAPS

                                                                         

I made a fun card with a a Moroccan background which I downloaded from the silhouette America online store. I used a grey Cri-kits pen to draw the background onto a scrap of Bazzill white card stock. Yeah for me using some scrap!!

Here is a side view I gave the purple metallic apples dimension by popping them onto an outline of the same apple, this image is one of the sketch designs from Silhouette America on line store and  the Cri-kit pens are perfect for these designs I can't wait to find more so I can use my pens and pen holders.

If you look at the top of the apple just before the stem you can see the metallic on the apple.  I love how this came out the background looks like designer paper, but it was all done with the pens.
I hope you have fun making your project for the challenge. I am looking forward to seeing what you create.

Papertrey inks September blog hop Challenge

Hey friends,

Paper Trey ink has their monthly blog hop going on and the inspiration is gorgeous fall and winter wreaths and under that it looks like some spring wreaths also.

So my latest purchase from PTI was the mighty oak stamp set. How awesome is it. I just Love all the designs on the leaves and when I saw this challenge, I knew this set would work perfectly. Everything on the card is from Paper trey Ink except the Swarovski crystal 

A2 base in Dark chocolate  images stamped on stampers select, using ripe avocado,terracotta tile,, dark choclate and classic Kraft

My sentiment is from the Mighty oak stamp set.

Happy Monday Friends,

I always love Mondays,  You all know that, but I have to say this is going to be a really quick post because, the season is beginning now.  From now until after Christmas I am super busy and a few new things have been added into the mix.  I can't really share yet, until I know for sure, but rest assured you will all find out sooner or later. So onto my project I love all the seasons and I love the change int the fall season and the colors that go with it so in keeping with fall I made this card. I need to send some thank you cards out so I thought I better get going on them. Her is one

I used  PTI stampers select white for the base the flower is made from Vintage cream using the Heartfelt Creations die Tattered Blossoms HC722 with a copper brad from making memories in the center and the  flock looked paper is canyon clay using matte medium gesso and a silhouette cover plate from the silhouette on line store  A2 Nature lace, it is so perfect for fall. the fancy tag is Spellbinder S4-235 and the sentiment is from PTI Asian Fusion. The crinkle ribbon is from My Craft spot -gingerbread.
I was able to put this together while some of the areas were still not quite dry and I did this intentionally so you can see the difference if you try this technique.

Happy first day of Fall (tomorrow),

I love this time of year, it rained overnight.  I think my neighbors caused it, they washed their cars.And now, we have a cloud with fog hanging over us which probably will not lift until 1:00pm. Just my guess from living here for so many years.  Fall is definitely in the air.

New season new blog look and I am working on these cute mini note cards, although, these may not be so cute and maybe a bit spooky. I used the Graphics 45  Steam punk spells for this set and this set will also now go to my ETSY store.

Hi friends,

I hope your week went well. Ours was super busy. I was able to make these cute bird note cards with envelopes. I make the envelopes from a sheet of  20# bond paper, it is the perfect wight for these small cards.
  I use the MS scoreboard. They are the perfect size. Here are the measurements in case you would like to make your own envelope.

cut a piece of paper 5 x5 from an 8 1/2 sheet of paper (use what ever you like) Place the envelope thing- a- ma- jig ( it slides out from the back of the board. put your point in the corner and score at 1 7/8 all at every corner. tape two flaps close leaving one open to slide your card in wa la--- a 3 1/4" square envelope.

For the back ground I used AC Amy tangerine . the pink circles were from my stash - I had some of scraps and decided to punch a bunch of 1.5 " circles. My birdie image is from Lori's Garden (IC).  Here is the Bride and groom, maid of honor and best man 

 I love how the dress came out I used crystal stickles and the swirl embossing folder white picot edged satin ribbon-- What a beautiful bride

 For the Maid of honor and brides maids dresses I used Bazzill basics brocade for the dress. I also used TimHoltz fades embossing folder and wine organza ribbon for the bow

I used AC card stock for the Bride groom and all the groom's men outfits

Mary has five bridesmaids including the maid of honor and of course there are five groomsmen for Leo including his best man

Hi Friends,

4 more days of summer and then it is fall. It is fitting that I make a fall card and it I planned it out to fit a few challenges, BBTB2, DCD to name a couple.

I can not wait to meet my cute little grand nephew.  The time slipped by so quickly I never finished the afghan I had started for him. I will have to get that out and finish it up the next week or so. I will post it when I am finished.
This card was  a lot of fun to make. I used PTI card stock for the layered borders, which are from spellbinders. dark chocolate terra cotta tile and harvest gold, my base is fine linen. The DP is from cricut imagine cartridge enjoy the seasons, that is also where my images of the apple and the branch with the leaves on it is from. I used 3M foam tape to pop three leaves up to give it some added dimension.  I thought at first it looked a little busy, but that is how fall looks to me when the wind is blowing and leaves are falling. The sentiment is from PTI Mighty Oak stamp set in dark chocolate ink.
