Good Morning Friends,

It is design team day over at Bitten by the Bug 2

Our Design team sister Michelle has chosen as the  Theme of our challenge this week "Music Speaks"

Remember last week I said "I love all my cricut cartridges and I am trying to stretch my field by using some of the cartridges that I do not use that much. I have not used this one in forever (maybe a year) and I think I have only used it 2 times. There are some very pretty and detailed images on here. I cut the Violin or fiddle as the Irish may call it at 3.6. any smaller and the blade seemed to cut the fine lines up. My scalloped rectangles are cut at 2" for the color and 1.8" for the white. The background paper is cut at 3.8" from the 8.5x 11 basic shape on the imagine machine using the heirloom cartridge. It all sits on top of kraft cardstock. I used foam tape to pop up the violin. You can probably see the shadows underneath. My sentiment is from My Creative Time, "Celebrate good times"

I hope I have inspired you to enter our "Music" themed challenge and play along.

  8. Oh Diana, I love your card! That paper you printed is gorgeous, I love the fiddle and love the paper you cut it out in. The green square paper is fabulous too, this is such a great card! I have to say that I love, love all my carts too, that's why I bought them. lol It was really hard the one time to pick a favorite because they all have things that I love about them. I'm glad that you got to sleep in this morning, but know how far that can put one behind, but you will get caught back up I'm sure. Hugs

  11. Great fiddle cut-I didn't know Heirloom had a violin on it! (Two of my boys play violin, so I'm always on the lookout for cuts with one.) I like to try to use all my different carts too-love how you are showing off on your blog some of the ones you don't always reach for!
