Happy Monday Everyone,

Well I figure I better get going on my Christmas cards. This is one created from my DL.ART crinkle ribbon and scraps of silk and lace, twine you name it, yes it is a hodge podge of scraps. I use to sew for a designer in San Francisco. She would hand paint silk and then give me the pattern to cut out  and  sew up, this was piecemeal and something I did while going to college. It was kind of fun I would pick up the projects and any scraps I could keep. I still have some and I am using them here. Back then I would also use the scraps to make little bags for gifts and also sell them.

So here is my fabric tree card for today The idea is from Melissa Phillips. I added some buttons, a bead and sequins from  my stash and topped it off with a snowflake in my scrap pile.
the Oh holy night is from PTI Petite Nativity.

In the bottom right just above the two greens I think I could have used a darker ribbon
oh well.

Have a blessed day Diana

  1. This is a darling idea. That'll make a really unique Christmas card. I'm not a sewer or quilter, so I'll have to try to get some material, but it'll be worth it. I think your card is fabulous just the way it is!
