Hi Everyone,
June is winding down and we are we will soon be in the last stretch of the year.  This one is going quicker than the last one.  I hope you are all going to enjoy the summer.

70's show?

Don't you just love the Strawberry- Grape tie dyed ribbon

                                                 DIANA L.
I have been making a few of these traveler's journals from the Eileen Hull sizzix scoreboard dies. here is a link if you would like to purchase her dies

This is the first one that I have all together. A lot has been trial and error and now I think I have it figured out now, so this is the first one I am posting. Don't you just love it?
They are so fun to make. I am also now carrying in my www.dianamlarson.com store the 2mm elastic to make the journals, so while you are buying ribbon you can order the elastic for your journal. For my closure I used the strawberry grape tie dye ribbon, one yard was enough to go around and have a nice bow. The designer papers I used are DCWV and recollection. The frame on the front Is from AG summer sorries.  The elastic cord I used is mauve 1.2 mm. I added liquid glass from CTMH here and there to add a little shine to the flowers. I love the flower power and tie dye together It reminds me of the 70's

Check out what my awesome Design Team has made with their amazing creativity along with the DL.ART crinkle ribbon and twine. Please send all the designers some bloggy love, by stopping by their blogs and letting them know how much you love their projects. I hope you are inspired by us.
I am very Thankful for everything in my life, not just today, but everyday.

  3. Fun Summertime feel to the creations. Like the journal with the pretty ribbon & papers. I always kept a journal of vacations. This Bee likes the Bee creation. Lisa's creation reminds me of wondeful memories of trips to Hawaii: Maui & Oahu. Katie's gift bags are wonderfully decorated in a fav color, purple, of mine. I've made a travel theme creation and hoping that it is acceptable since Summer typically means travel time.
