Challenge #258 "Mothers Day"
Hello Everyone,
Day 45 - the Shelter in Place order:
I made this mother's day card yesterday for my mom even though she passed away 2 years ago, I had special thoughts of her while I was making it. April 28th was her birthday, so this made it very special. When she was alive I would always make her a birthday card and a mother's day card. I decided I am going to carry on the tradition. It was very pleasant, It is impossible to bring her back physically, but her memories will always be with me and I love her. I hope you like the card.
I think this is beautiful and romantic, mostly everything is from AG except the crinkle ribbon that is from DLART in ivory. This is a 5 x 7 card, very substantial. Using a premium quality card base.
Day 38 in the Shelter in Place order:
My mom is no longer on this earth, but when she was I always made her a card or some sort of art project for her birthday, Christmas and Mother's day. I decided to take a trip down memory lane and pick one of my favorite projects I had made her for mother's day 7 years ago. I still think it is very pretty and it was a compilation of three or four challenges at the time.
I had just discovered SVGcuts and I was on the creative inspirations paint design team. I wish they were still in business. Their products were great and still I have some still.
Are any of you binge watching Netflix?
or other streaming formats?
I am watching reruns of star trek series. One a night
Making ribbon,buttons, cards and filling orders.
I do believe the social distancing is the key!
Yes, I miss my friends, but not at the cost of others losing their lives.
As of this week it is mandatory to wear some sort of face mask while in businesses- I don't own one, but I am going to make one this week. I have ordered some fabric and plan on making a lot for our local hospitals-- just doing my part
STAY HOME! STAY SAFE!

Very pretty! I have not made masks but I did purchased some. I've been making some repairs in our home and it is coming out great. Also maybe a little touch up with our walls (paint).Your Mother's Day card is absolutely beautiful...as beautiful as your mom.I am sure that she is looking down from heaven loving it...love you my friend...hugs
