Welcome to
DL.ART Thankful Thursday
Challenge #262  "Red. White and Blue"

Hello  Everyone,
Day __102_  the Shelter in Place order: who's counting
We do have one person in the hospital in our city with Covid-19. we have 260 confirmed cases (up 21 since last week) and 215 recovered(up 18 from last week).  Sadly 2 have died

we are  in phase 2.5 of the SIP - we are opening up !!!  Indoor dining, I haven't done it yet
How is it in your city?

My card was so fun to make I used a 3D deep embossing folder and die from my stash. the ribbon is from the DL.ART patriotic bundle the star and the rosette are die cuts. changed some of the colors, but then after putting the card together I did not like the color of the font I chose, so I used copic markers to color in the images  to change it again.
the card measures 5" x 7" and is on 110# card stock

  2. Hello, Diana, your birthday card is stunning! Your die-cuts look amazing! Our province is opening up and easing restrictions as well - we haven't had a case of COVID-19 since June 9. I'm not ready to go out to restaurants yet, but we have been supporting local restaurants during the lockdown by getting takeout a couple times a month. I finally got to visit my parents last week after many months. Mom and I both cried - we missed each other so much. It was nice to get and give hugs again. I wish they lived closer but we're already talking about our next visit. I just hope the virus doesn't get out of control again, but it probably will. We're still playing it safe.
