How was the month of April for you? I sure hope it was good and you are having all kinds of fun. Mothers day is around the corner are you prepared?
My mother is and MIL is no longer with us and I certainly miss them both, but Mother's day is a day to celebrate the life they lived never the less.
Here are a few questions for you.

My daughter lives far away so we usually don't celebrate except my husband likes to buy flowers. I love your flowers - wow!
ReplyDeleteI love how your bouquet came out, too! And the vase. Very pretty! We still celebrate Mother's Day ... my sister and SIL are both moms; I have 3 nieces & 6 nephews (the oldest nephew is getting married in 2 weeks!!). We will go to my SIL's house for dinner & dessert. I have already made a Mother's Day card for my Mom - I put it by her picture. :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't celebrate Mother's Day for myself but for my mom. I usually make her a special card and tag in May and at some point I make her a cake but not on Mother's Day it's too hectic with other family

ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day to you and to all women out there!! We celebrate Mother's Day with a trip to the Chinese restaurant that has a special buffet that day. Oh, yum!!! It is something I look fwd to each year!!

ReplyDeleteYes, we celebrate Mother's Day but in March. I make card and give small gift to my mom and grandma.
uf, I don't plan any special project in May but it would be nice to travel ... due to pandemic this is impossible.

ReplyDeleteHi Diana! Love your flowers! My answers: 1- Yes. My sister, my little brother and I always celebrate Mother's Day with our wonderful mom. My parents live 200 km away. 2- We travel, reunite and take a fabulous lunch. We keep together that weekend. Cannot miss a lot of ice-cream, my mom love it. 3- Mmmm, I often make special projects throughout the year. We celebrate Mother's Day in October (Spring) here. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHello, Diana! Thank you for the linky and for your beautiful inspiration bouquet of flowers! Yes, I celebrate Mother's Day. We are on tight lockdown here so I haven't seen my parents since last fall. I miss them so much! I celebrated by sending a card as well as a phone call. No special projects in May other than a journal I've been making, slowly getting it done.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beautiful paper bouquet! I'm terrible with 3-D projects so just admire those that others make. My mother and mother in law are both gone, but I still celebrate mother's everywhere with cards that I donate, and send to my daughter, daughter-in-law and sisters.
ReplyDeleteI love this bouquet, because it will stay beautiful forever! Yes, I celebrate Mother's day. We spend one day with my mom, and the other weekend with my husband's mom. In between, I get special time from my kids...who always make a handmade card, or two or three, and breakfast!
ReplyDeleteI always spend Mother's Day by greeting my mother & reminding my husband to greet my mother in law. Since Mother's Day always fall on a weekend, when am working, I wait for my sons to suprise me. I also create something special for my mom co-nurses who are working with me that night.
