Welcome to April

Welcome to the DL.ART April 2022 linky challenge

  Hello Everyone,

Don't you just love April?  Spring is in the air, flowers are blooming birds are chirping, life is good....   Which brings me to my project.

This came together not so easily.  The dies are from Anna Griffin.  It is an easel card I wanted it sturdy so I glued two sheets together. The papers a mixed bag of colors I just thought went well together, I still might add some flowers to it but I love the simplicity.  Does it make you think of spring or April showers.

We were fortunate enough to get some rain the past week. but not enough to keep us out of the drought.

What are you working on this month?

  3. Love the colors you put together here, Diana; very pretty! And of course I adore the birdie & how you popped up one for dimension. I still need to make my Easter cards so I'll be working on those.

  4. Thank you for the new challenge for April! I love your adorable birdhouse easel card! Yes, I am definitely ready for spring! We have had a few spring-like days, but it's snowing today - yikes! I don't think it's going to last though as it's not sticking to the ground very much, sort of melting as it falls. Have a great month, Diana!

  5. My mother would have loved your card. She loved birds and bird houses. It's raining here today in PA. Everything is starting to turn green. Spring is such a sweet time.

  6. Oooh, such a pretty card and I love the easel design. I stick to plain cards that don't do anything fancy but I love seeing fancy folds. We had some rain this week, which makes me happy!

  7. I have yet to make an easel card but that's on my to-do list. Fancy folds always give me trouble because I'm not careful with my measurements but they look so impressive!

I have been working on using my Graphic 45 collections......before I die!!!! lol... I don't want my kids to have to dispose of a bunch of gorgeous papers that I never used because they were too beautiful!!! Ha.
Have a great day, Diana. Thank you for your Linky Party challenges.
