Hi Friends,

I will start you off with  the bad news first   #1 bad-- my post is late, the reason more bad, my gypsy bit the dust. I have been on the phone with Provo Craft the better part of the morning. I have to say the  staff that help over the phone are really great. I have called quite a few times over the years, with various questions and they are always very patient and thorough. They always have such a calm and serious voice.  My gypsy just kept freezing up.  It actually froze in the middle of trying to make the fathers day card I posted yesterday

The (#1)good news, they were able to give me the information I needed to help me get it working again and restore all my cartridges

The  (#2)bad news, all my designs that were stored on there from the beginning are gone. :-((, at least 3 years worth of designs. When I think about it there were a few that I use a lot that I can probably replicate and the others, oh well, now I have room for new design.  So, it is not so bad after all.

The (#2)good news,  I have a winner for the challenge that closed on June 2
Click here  to see the challenge.  See Below.

I also made a clean and simple card
for CAS challenge:Dots
I used a cuttle bug folder and My Pink Stamper Lunch box thoughts stamp set, which you can purchase @ Shop Pumpkin Spice

Congratulations  Katie!  Send me your snail mail address and I will get the Michael's gift card right out to you.

Thanks for stopping by, Have a blessed day, Diana

  4. Had a problem with my Gypsy last yr where it came up with a security breach message. The people at ProvoCraft were nice in explaining what to do to try and get it to work by using the stylus poked into the back to reset but that did not work so since it was still under warranty (which in case noone else knows is only 1 yr) they emailed me a postage paid stamp thingie to put on the outside and take to a FedEx place. They had me box up my Gypsy with cables and mail it back to them. They mailed me a new one. Yes, I got the free cartridges that I had when I bought during that time that gave you free cartridge downloads if you bought a Gypsyt from Michaels during a certain timeframe. I lost all my designs. Need to back them up on my PC and onto a disk or flashhdrive. I have to reload my cartridges. So, I understand the frustration of this but a bigger worry is now that my warranty is over because the new one keeps the warranty from the former and is not extended what happens when it breaks up. It has done some strange things like the cursor moving on its own and a reset with stylus straightens it out. Sorry, to be long winded but I wish that Provocraft would have used better computer experienced people to design the Gypsy because it could be so much better than what it is in my opinion.

  16. I'm sorry to hear your Gypsy has been giving you trouble. I have a love/hate relationship with all technology - can't live without it but hate having to deal with the blips. Love all your spots on this card! Thanks for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays this week :)
