Best Wishes- For a lovely lady

CLICK HERE for the DL.ART Thankful Thursday LINKY PARTY challenge ending February 28, 2013

Hi Everyone,

I have an extra post day over at Creative Inspiration paints.  I needed to make a card  for my younger sister who just became engaged.  I always wish her the Best of Everything.  That is why I used the shimmering paints and these fine papers and  I went with the vintage look, what do you think?

Here is a close up of the flowers

  **************************************************
Creative inspiration shimmering paints used:
Sky blue, Mellow yellow, Orange , Rose quartz

The paper I used is from Graphics 45  "A Lady's Diary". I used the sky Blue to paint the chip board bird and the label and one of the flowers.  The flowers were white but I wanted them to match the floral background paper and the shimmering colors were perfect. My card base is PTI blueberry sky. The ribbon is from my stash.  The best wishes is an inchie stamp from inkadinkadoo stamped with Versamark onyx black ink.

Also here is a reminder for the

  7. Hi Diana. Congrats to your sister. She will enjoy these lovely ladies. The hats they are wearing are fabulous. The paints really add a lot of pizzaz and sparkle to a plain flower. Are you planning on going to Scrap Expo?
