Hi Everyone,
This week at Mojo, it is tall and skinny my card is 3 1/2 by 5 1/2  and for my DP I used country roads from the HL paper studio pack.  There were quite a few layers on this and I used 5 patterned papers and then the die cut and stamped flower and sentiment are from Verve stamp & die set Happy place
I love the way this came out. the 2 flowers were all one die but I had to cut them so they would not cut off the sentiment. The sequins are also from verve the Holiday collection. I also added some gold offray ribbon, why not? I'm using sequins

I hope you like my card and you could enter the mojo challenge also. It just started today so you have a full week to enter.

Hi Everyone,

Are you ready for Monday?

Here is the PRINTER scoop--- I got the printer this weekend I went for the Epson WF 4630. The reason---. I already have an Epson photo printer which uses 7 ink cartridges.  The Hp photo printer that I had also used 7 ink cartridges and I basically used the HP for everyday tasks, because the photos were not as good as the Epson. The last photo Epson printer I had, I used until its life expectancy was over meaning - each printer has a certain amount of prints that it will make - I think I read it was in the 10,000 range, at least for that printer. The newer ones I don't know. I was a bit reluctant to buy a print that sheet feeds from the bottom again, because they seem to jam when I use the heavy card stock. I actually ran 120# card stock through and it printed beautifully. I have not tried it on the double sided setting for that particular card stock. I will keep you posted.

As far as photo printer I will stick with printing photos with my Epson Photo printer and then everyday with my work force. Thank you all so much for your input, it really helped in the decision process.

Check out my Happy Monday card!!!

Partial double die cutting with ombre effect.

I used PTI petite pots stamp set and die, Blue skies die and My card stock is aqua mist and stampers select white. I almost clipped off the first flower when I went back to do the second die cut.

Here is my new helper

Hi Everyone,

You all have been great with your help and suggestions on the printer. I still have not made up my mind, I need to decide whether I want a photo printer or an all in one.  I have a photo printer, but it is older than the hp photo, copier scanner printer that just bit the dust.  If I get one or the other, I sacrifice either the economy of running it or the quality of good prints. I am trying to blend the two. I will still keep the photo printer I have until it quits, but in the mean time I have two more places to look tomorrow.  One guy spent over an hour with me explaining all the  features and differences of many machines.  I was quite happy  with how the prices have gone down and you get so much more. I don't even want to tell you how old my printer is -- I could not believe it.

The good news is,  I was able to return the ink cartridges for a full refund and the box was opened and I had even installed the black cartridge. I  showed the salesperson and he said, 14 day policy . So I was really thrilled with the store and the help I received. That was at Staples by the way- yes  a shout out for Staples.

Hopefully I can share more good news on the Printer Saga tomorrow, but for now I want to share this fun card I Made.

The stamp set is from CTMH, unfortunately is no longer available, it was a hostess reward stamp last year. The background card stock is available. I thought it was a fun whimsical card.and I got another 10 cards done for the womens conference tonight. My goal is to get them finished by this Saturday. If I can get 20 done a night, I am doing  good. I have 110 finished as of tonight, 115 to go.

Have a blessed day, Diana

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are having a wonderful Monday.
Has it been a good Monday for you? or has it been fraught with problems?

Mine started out really good, actually the problem all began yesterday. My black ink cartridge was not printing, so I went out first thing this am to buy a new one. Three others were expired so I thought I would buy them also. Well, you have to order them or buy them in the multi pack. So I thought OK, I will buy the multi pack. because you get 6 and it would have cost me more just to buy 3.  I go home put the black in, it reads genuine hp cartridge. Black is not printing. I get online, I watch 5 videos trying to figure out how to fix it.
Bottom line... I need a new printer. The sad thing is, this printer is a photo printer and has a great scanner on it. My search is on. Any tips on printers and your experiences would greatly be appreciated.
I am hoping I can return the other inks now, that would be a good portion toward the new printer. we shall see.I will keep you posted

So How fun is this? All the patterns are made from stamps, no DSP here.
My card stock is PTI Fine linen the stamps sets I used are "Asian Fusion"  and "sketched shapes". The ink is CTMH Thistle, sky, flaxen and chocolate  and versamark onyx black. I inked all the edges with chocolate. The twine is from my stash. The button is a deep purple from my vintage buttons collection.

"Graphic 45 Design Team Audition 2015"

Hi Everyone,

It is that time of year again, when Graphic 45 chooses its design team for 2015.  Here are the projects I have created for submission along with a few that I have made in the past. Before I begin, Did I say, I love Graphic 45 Designer cardstock?  I do.

I will start off with  this pendant, I used "By the Sea" Graphic 45 collection, I zeroed in on this unique sea horse and then added liquid glass to the  domed glass, applied it to the sea horse, let it dry, trimmed it,and then placed it inside the faux antiqued gold pendant.

For my  next project I used "Time to Flourish" Paper series . This was a very quick and easy card to make, using layering and to give this great effect I used the journaling card and ephemera. My card base is 5 x 7,the journaling tag is 4 x 6. The ephemera pocket was already die cut and scored and then I just popped the tag inside. Easy peasy.

Lately I have been making quite a few of these tr-fold cards with the matching embossed envelope.  The card measures 4 1/4 x 5. The envelope is made from the same card stock

I used the Graphic 45 By the sea  Designer series paper collection for this card also.

For this snow globe, other than the backing I fussy cut everything out.

I used spellbinders dies for the card.

The snow globes are super fun. A absolutely love doing 3D projects, I find them relaxing to make and fun to see them finished, and everyone loves to get them as a gift.

I also love hand coloring, embossing and  using paint and chalk. I can not think of anything I do not like about arts and crafts

Here are a few more examples of what I like to do

I hope you have enjoyed my audition. Have a blessed day, Diana

Hi Everyone, I hope you are enjoying a fun Sunday, we got some much needed rain again yeah!!!!.

Before I give you the announcement, I have to say I am super behind on Birthday cards. so these are just a few of the dozens I made yesterday.  Also the Women's conference is coming up and  it is two weeks earlier this year, than previous years. Right now, I have 90 of the 240 cards I am making, completely finished - the rest are in stages of being finished. I do not show anyone the cards until the day of the conference. Of Course the hubs sees them because they are here.  If you have not seen me around,  it is because I am inundated with paper projects (which I love of course).

I made 12 of these Birthday cards in different patterns, I need to have some on hand, I don't want to get behind again, it is to hard to catch up.  If you like these and you would like to make some yourself, you may consider buying the artfully sent cricut cartridge from my CTMH on line store, I will throw in a special goody to sweeten the offer. contact me for info.

A friend of mine really liked the card I used for the challenge#152 (the girls hugging). I really could not remember what carts I used to make it, but because she liked it so much, I decided to make it for her as her B-day card. I used  "Something to celebrate" (cricut circle cartridge) and better together for the patterned paper I cut the image at 4 1/4. I hope you like it to.

So now on to my announcement... As you know my challenges begin at 9:00 am on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month and run until the Tuesday 12 day later. I will be extending the challenges for another 24 hours, including the one that is running right now. Which means you will have until Wednesday at 11:55 pm to enter. Which will give you two full weeks to enter the challenge, and give me two full weeks to enjoy all the wonderful projects that everyone inspires me with.

Also, because of this change the winners will be announced on the FRIDAY, SATURDAY, or SUNDAY after the challenge--there are many ways to find out if you have won.

1.Look on my right sidebar.under the challenge it will say winner and the name- if you don't see that I probably haven't picked a winner yet.

2. There is a winner tab at the top of my blog which has the numbered challenges and a link to the winner post

3.on my blog to the bottom left you will see archives of posts --LOOK for the posts that are titled WINNER.

Winners have 2 weeks to claim their prize, if you don't claim it, it goes back to be a prize for a future challenge.

What do you think do you like the change?

Which of the 2 Birthday card designs do you like best?

Have a blessed day Diana

I love how this came out

The cardstock is from a stack my friend Katie gave me that she got from hobby lobby  their store brand,  the paper studio "country road ".   The stamped butterfly is from Verve "happy place", The sentiment is from "big Hugs occasions"my CTMH store. This stamp set is the perfect set

What do you think Did I pull it off?
