I have super fun card. I love the deep etched rubber stamps from Unity, I have been wanting this one ever since I saw it.  You will be seeing Amber around a few more times as I am going to be coloring her in lots of colors.  I will definitely be needing more copic markers, unless I decide to do them on watercolor paper.

I am so blessed to still have my mother on this good earth and I cherish every moment I get to speak with her or see her. This is not the card I am sending my mom, but I do think she is perfect and I love her so much just the way she is.

I am back with another post!!! Can you believe it?  i got a bit of time to make another distressed card (I am loving my DIA)and continuing with the Basic Grey Fresh cut collection. I do not think these springy collections go out of style (at least for a few years.and the trend still is sequins so added some verve signature sequins-- Don't you just love  them???

I am really liking the shabby look and I thought that went out of style I guess it is back, or never left.

The ink is thistle from CTMH and my ribbon is from 3 girl jam.

Design Inspiration

Hi Everyone,
I cut everything out of white card stock and hand colored everything, except for the Basic grey Fresh cut Designer paper I used for the background. I used Florals embellished- Digiplayground-JMRush design for the tulips and copic markers for all the coloring. I added a rhinestone to the flower inside the "o" in mother, just because she deserves it. I think this is the one my mom will get. Don't you just love it. I really popped the pots up by using two layers of foam tape. By the way this card is 5 x 7 I needed a larger format with everything that was going on  here.

Hi Everyone,

I have this great paper from Basic Grey-- "Fresh cut" that I got at Scrapbook Expo last year from the latest and greatest. It is so cheerful and springy so I thought I would pull it out and start using it before winter returns.  The tag die is from PTI  as is  the sentiment from "potted plants" stamp set. I used thistle ink from CTMH  and vellum to tone down the bold pattern.
 The pink twine is from my ETSY store.

Hi Friends,
Welcome to the BBTB2 challenge. Our DT sister Susan has chosen the challenge this week, she has challenged us to create a card, layout or project using  " A bicycle" as the theme.
You must use a cricut cartridge with a die cut. That is it!! and have fun.

I hope you like my card. I finished off the inside also. The inside is actually where the cricut cut is.  I cut everything out in white and hand colored it . I kind of like doing that, it looks more artsy. and it is definitely one of a kind then. I will share the front of my card at another time.

Hi Everyone,

Last weekend was so busy, I decided to stay in the last couple of days, it has been really nice and we got some  much needed rain last night.

I got the DIA tool and  put it to some good use this weekend.  It still isn't as shabby as I want it to look, but I am working on it.  Here is my first card I was too busy to make more. I am really looking forward to trying this on all kinds of paper and card stock. The stamp set I used is from Verve---"Surely Goodness"-- the die is scalloped flowers and versamark onyx black ink. The gorgeous orange ribbon is from my good friend Karen from Little scrap pieces

Don't you just love when someone or something  inspires you? I have had the pleasure of getting to know some fantastic designers in the real world and through blogging.  I also see art in everything, I am thankful that I seem to always have that churning inside my brains, the simmer does slowed down when I am away from it at long periods of time, but it returns stronger when I come back to it. So today I am just sharing a card I made from  products from PTI

I have super quick yet fun square card I made.  It has been over cast here for the last week and I want some sunshine, so I made my own. Two stamps two colors of ink and two pieces of cardstock DONE!
What do you think? I like it, I don't usually do this quick, but this would be great as a production card, I just need the misti now.

Good Morning Everyone,
The color theme for our Women's conference this year was gray and yellow.  These are the cards that I made. I made 225 for the conference and a few extra. The conference was well attended and we had a silent auction to raise money to feed orphans in Zambia. It was very successful.

I used an Art Deco embossing folder with tulips on it (my favorite flower)and the art Deco cartridge for the elements the twine is from DL.ART SUPPLIES  and the thanks is from CTMH many thanks stamp set

Good Morning Friends,

My Moms birthday is coming up quick  and it looks like I will have her card mailed out to her before her B-day and she should be able to get it on her special day. I just finished it and it will go in the mail today. Yeah!! 

Don't you just love white on white with a hint of color? I find it to be crisp and refreshing and pleasing to the eye. Tulips are my favorite flower and here, I have them saying happy birthday to my mother. I love how this turned out, I hope you do to.
