Happy Monday Everyone,

I hope you all had a great weekend. The big 4th of July celebration is around the corner, but we have a lot of summer birthdays in the family so I thought I would get a few out of the way early so I don't have to add belated. For the background of my card I used 2 shades of yellow copic markers and for the cover plate I used 3 shades of the blue then I added 3 sequins and it is a card easy peasy.

Hi Everyone,

 Here is the inspiration Photo from PTI, What do you think super cute huh? Here is what I came up with. I love when things come together so well.

For this I used Stampers select white, versamark black onyx ink, vanilla cream and orange zest. The die for the stamped sentiment and the flouris are from tinsel and tags. The tag itself is tag sale #3. The flowers are from Happiness blooms both for the die and the centers of the flowers, and also the border. The twine is from my ETSY store

I always love Independence day! I love the red white and blue and the freedoms that we enjoy in our country. Let's all celebrate by sharing our patriotic colors - Red white and blue. I hope you all have a very safe and fun July 4th. I am starting to hear the fireworks in the distance already. I have probably mentioned before that our city has banned fireworks, and this year our drought is even worse than last year, so I sure hope people obey the laws. I hope you are inspired by my card and all the entries that will be available to view.

  I did finish the inside, after all I will be sending this out today!!

My Aunt, My mother's youngest sister is having a "BIG" birthday and her birthday is in July, so I thought this card would be very fitting for her. She also loves red. I think I nailed it for her on this one.  ETSY.com/shop/DLART. The sentiment is from "CTMH Blossom" workshop on the go. This WOG will only be available until August 31, 2015 unless it sells out sooner than that.  I hope you like my card and I hope you are inspired to join in on the fun!! For my ink I used outdoor denim and cranberry




The stamp set I used came from the blossom kit.  This is such an awesome set and a great deal, it comes with everything you need to make 15 cards (minus the stamp pads).

Hi Everyone,

I haven't entered a challenge at Die Cuttin' Diva's for awhile and thought this would be a great challenge. I have also been wanting to do a shaker card. I do believe this could also be a  card for Valentines or anyone you love. LOVE- just never goes out of style.  This was made  from a card kit that I got from Scrapbook expo last August and I just finished all 8 cards in the kit. Now I have a few scraps, we  will see what I make next.  On to the challenges...

Hi Everyone,

Nice to have my Mojo back on Monday,  This is a masculine card I know there are still a few father's day challenges out there, so I thought why not. Anyone could really receive this card, but I say masculine because of the plaid.  Go figure...

Here it is I used Verve Thankful blossoms and older verve stamp set. The base card stock is fine linen and the DP's are from recollection.

Happy Monday Everyone,


One of my very favorite papers is Sublime from Basic Grey , I love the arty look of this paper and I tend to not use it because it may go out of print and then what?   Well, I decided I better start using it or it may go bad. Can that happen?  On another note, Asian Fusion is one of the first stamps sets I bought from PTI. The reason being is it has a lot of sentiments that work on a daily basis and I love the simplicity of it. I think this card gets the point across and it is very simple.

I added gold pen stitching around the square and colored in a few of the flowers. I hope you like my card .

I seem to be giving you our weather report each time I have these challenges. The weather for today was like Hawaii I felt like I was on a Caribbean cruise. The clouds in the sky were just amazing and we did get a few drips of tropical rain from them. Thank God.  On to the challenge

Isn't this the coolest?  this is "Tommy" from the Prima dolls collection. I fussy cut Tommy  and colored him and  his clothes with copic markers. I am making quite a few guy cards and tags  just to have on hand you do not seem to see too many available, and I love making them. The twine is from my DL.ART SUPPLIES store and/or my ETSY.com/shop/DLART. The sentiment is from CTMH Belated Birthday stamp sentiment set.  I never thought I would make cards ahead of time for a belated birthday- go figure. There is a nine on the plane in the background wouldn't this be the cutest tag on a little boys  gift, especially if it was a plane.

Hi Everyone,


It was a very fulfilling day for me today. I went to the second service at church today. Our female pastor was preaching today and wow did she ever knock it out of the park, (not really my words, but a quote from one of the other pastors) with the promise of hope and salvation.
Then, there was a memorial shortly afterward. Our senior pastors mother had passed away a couple of weeks ago. The service was very uplifting as it was a celebration of life.  There were a few sad moments, but overshadowed by all the happy memories shared.  I have missed seeing her for the last few months, but now my hope is I will see her at another time.

Here is the card I made.

Then, after that I hit the gym and got 3.5 miles in some stretches, weight, etc.
