Challenge #256 "Dogs and/or Puppies"
Hello Everyone,
We are on day 17 now of the shelter in place order. Basically, I have turned into a cat. I get up clean myself, get dressed (cats don't do that), eat walk around a little bit and then take a nap, repeat. Oh, I am doing a little more than that. I do take short walks, but I mainly stay on the property , once in awhile I will venture down to the corner and back up.
I would love to go down to the beach, but I really think staying away and being safe is the best thing for me and the emergency workers. I am taking into consideration, what if's; and in doing this, it is not that I am afraid, panicky or anxious, no , I am concerned for the emergency workers.
What if I got hurt while out and had to go to the hospital, if that could have been avoided, I would not be putting the emergency workers at risk.
I do believe the social distancing is the key!
Yes, I miss my friends, but at the cost of others losing their lives,
No way- STAY HOME! STAY SAFE!
I just found out yesterday SHELTER IN PLACE is extender to April 30th, Then today we heard it will be May 3rd. For all we know it may be extended to June 6, by the time we get it under control, so be it if, it saves lives.
Week #2
Recipe:
110# white card stock
4.25" x 5.5"
Echo Park Designer paper
Tangerine nuvo drops
Black card stock
WEEK #1
This is a sneak peak of my dog card. It is from a kit by basic grey, one of my many favorite paper companies, which is sadly no longer in the paper business. When they were going out of business I bought a fairly large grab bag package from them. There were about five kits in there as I recall and a bunch of random packs of paper large and small. There were also brads and other embellishments.
I think the card is just adorable. what do you think?
We are 10 days into the shelter in place order now. I have stayed away from shopping. David (the hubs) has been venturing out. The sad thing is only 1/3 of what is on the list is brought back. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better and then he will not have to go back out for a few weeks. We do take daily walks out doors, which is nice even though we have had rain (desperately needed) for the last few days.
I am curious, How is it going in your area with CO-VID 19, and do you feel prepared? what are you doing to be prepared?

Have a blessed day Diana
Adorable card Diana, glad you're OK and doing well.
ReplyDeleteStay safe, enjoy the warm sunshine.
We've had a few siting's of sunshine the past few days, still very cold outside, easier to stay in house for us. Hugs, Lori m
Very nice work as always - hope all is well with you and your family.
ReplyDeleteAnother Adorable card Diana! I'm glad you're able to stay safe... With work and me about to move shortly that becomes a little more of a challenge - trust me, I'm keeping my distance from others, but I do have to travel back and forth between 2 homes at this time - So it's becoming a juggling act - At least I'm going from Point A to point B with no stops in-between and point B is the middle of nowhere, where we are really out there with no one around us thank goodness! Continue to stay safe and I will do my best to do the same thing! :)
