Hi Everyone,

This past week has been one of great HIGHS and sorrowful Lows. The beginning of the week I was guest designer at My Pink Stamper, I won lots of goodies and had a great time with all the dinners and desserts out. Toward the end of the week I was sitting with dear fiends as we said good bye to another dear friend, our friend passed away today @3:00 p.m. I am very sad, but thankful he is out of pain (cancer, is no ones friend). I wanted to share that with you, because I know I have not been able to visit many of you, but I have tried my best. Thank you for understanding.  I realize making art is very Therapeutic so I have been trying to create to take my mind off the sadness. Here is the card I came up with. There are 3 other Thankful Thursdays open to enter:

Hi Everyone,

This has been another one of those busy weeks for me. It is missions week at my church, so the last two nights I have been out late- I don't mean 3:00 in the morning, I just mean late for me.
I was in a (dessert)planning meeting last night for our women's conference and I committed to make
210 Thank you cards to go in the goody bags the women get.
I guess I better get busy. The conference is at the end of April.
About the dessert. I took my camera with me , but forgot to take a picture of my desert. It was unbelievable.
A chocolate walnut bread pudding. It tasted more like a flour-less chocolate cake it was deep deep dark chocolate with chocolate sauce dripping over it a scoop of hand made ice ream and raspberries blackberries and an d fluffy thin pastry cookies on top and slivered bananas.
Here is the winner for the Thankful Thursday challenge that ended Jan 21, 2012

Congratulations !!    Crystal Bell.

Hi Everyone,

I am in the process of organizing a few things on my blog, and if I don't blogger does it for me (lol).
I want you to know how things work for the THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGES and my giveaways. The challenges are posted on my right sidebar. Once I have chosen the random .org winner their name will appear, after the  date the challenge ended.  If you do not see a name there I have not drawn it yet.  Once the winner has contacted me and I have shipped it, I move it over to the bottom left sidebar.  That keeps me organized, I have to do it that way, because I sometimes have 3 challenges (with giveaways) opened and a giveaway at the same time. This is a 5x7 card. The hippo is cut at 3”, the birdie @1” and the two ewes @ 2.
I just love the way this came out.
I used Jenni Bowlin stick candy ink and the googly eyes are darice.

I made this mini beaded match book album, with all of Robyn’s favorite things.
The journal tags are stamped with the sentiments from MY Pink Stamper “That’s punny–licious.” Stamp set the images on the tags are from the Nursery tails cartridge. Happy Birthday Robyn!—I can’t surprise her now.
I hope all of you enjoyed my projects for the guest designer spot at Robyn’s,  MY PINK STAMPER.
For those of you who want to see how I put the card together and a little more info about the stamps and materials used. Please go over to The Pink Stamper, I made a video it is over there on her site today.

JANUARY 20, 2012 *** FRIDAY*** LOVE

Good Morning  Friends,
I got this card done and now I have to do the unthinkable, clean my house.  When I say that I mean it is a no-brainer. I  relax my thoughts while I clean.  It is a peaceful and  productive time, a thing I do that makes me feel better, when I  get to sit and enjoy all the  blessings that I have been given.
It seems to me dust accumulates quicker and quicker. I love these throw away swifter dusters. It does make life easier. I start at the top get to the bottom and then throw them away.

On to more fun stuff. I looked at a few challenges put my thinking cap on and came up with this. It took a log time, but it came out so super clean and simple.
I really like it.  It is an A2 card

What do you use to dust?
Love all your comments, Diana

JANUARY 20, 2012-- FRIDAY-- SUMMER WHERE ARE YOU?

Good Morning Friends,

I did get a card made last night and a few visits in.  Blogger is doing a little better now and I can leave comments on most blogs I visit. I am really tired today so I'm going to post this and then go to bed. See you all tomorrow.
I had fun making this card I hope you like it.
I did a lot of layering.
I miss summer, because we really never had one this year .  Now our fall should  really  be called winter, we had freezing weather the other night. This is unusual for us.

This is from the imagine enjoy the seasons cartridge. The" I miss you" is from the top part of My Pink Stamper "lunch Box Thoughts , which in its entirety reads "I miss you  when you're gone"
This is an A2 card card stock PTI fine linen and the ink is jenni Bowlin Chili Powder.

I don't know if you can tell from this photo but my new glasses are purple. They do the trick. I wanted green, maybe I will find some. The purple look good.

I really appreciate all your comments.

January 19, 2012 ****** THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE******

 Hi Everyone,

It is time again for Thankful Thursday, what are you thankful for this week?  After a year of blogging and looking through the bottom of my glasses (I wear progressive lenses which means the bottom of the lens is for close-up) I have noticed that I am sitting in a peculiar position at my computer.  My neck is tilted backward, my shoulders are slouched and my stomach is scrunched up.. I hope that description makes sense to you.  It is awful. I told my eye Doctor and he prescribed computer glasses.  WOW!!! Eye can see
(that's a pun). I am sitting straight now, stomach is sucked in (as much as it can be) and shoulders are back head is up right.  I'm not getting the neck aches now either ( I wondered where that pain in the neck came from).
I hope that helps someone.  I am thankful for the new glasses. I also needed to make a Thank you card  for some so I am getting this done at the same time.

I have a new challenge for you:
Has to be a thank you card, has to use Kraft type paper somewhere on it has to have a flower and twine.
You will have until February 4, 2012 @11:59 to link up a project for this challenge.

The giveaway is: 48 sheets 6x6 of this Hand made silk and cotton paper. from the sets deep shadows, neutral naturals, hearts and flowers, glorious glitters. (12 from each set)

Thank you for your comments I love reading them,
