January 19, 2012 ****** THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE******

 Hi Everyone,

It is time again for Thankful Thursday, what are you thankful for this week?  After a year of blogging and looking through the bottom of my glasses (I wear progressive lenses which means the bottom of the lens is for close-up) I have noticed that I am sitting in a peculiar position at my computer.  My neck is tilted backward, my shoulders are slouched and my stomach is scrunched up.. I hope that description makes sense to you.  It is awful. I told my eye Doctor and he prescribed computer glasses.  WOW!!! Eye can see
(that's a pun). I am sitting straight now, stomach is sucked in (as much as it can be) and shoulders are back head is up right.  I'm not getting the neck aches now either ( I wondered where that pain in the neck came from).
I hope that helps someone.  I am thankful for the new glasses. I also needed to make a Thank you card  for some so I am getting this done at the same time.

I have a new challenge for you:
Has to be a thank you card, has to use Kraft type paper somewhere on it has to have a flower and twine.
You will have until February 4, 2012 @11:59 to link up a project for this challenge.

The giveaway is: 48 sheets 6x6 of this Hand made silk and cotton paper. from the sets deep shadows, neutral naturals, hearts and flowers, glorious glitters. (12 from each set)

Thank you for your comments I love reading them,

  9. Flowers make me smile including yours on the card. I use to wear contact lenses, hard style. Tried soft but could not get use to them. Went back to hard lenses. Then couple yrs ago I got glasses because not only the price of lens cleaner & stuff was going up and kind for hard lenses was not easy to find in most stores. Also, at the time I was going to have to renew my driver's license so it was time for new prescription so I chose glasses. I have a pr of prescription sunglasses & pr of regular prescription glasses. When I'm at home I do not wear any glasses and can see computer screen & watch tv without any glasses. I do wear glasses to drive of course & also at movie theaters. My eyes feel so much better without the hard contact lenses in them.

  12. ha ha ha I am in the same boat! I now need trifocals really bifocals weren't enough. I couldn't get use to the progressive lens so now I have three sets of glasses one for distance for when I drive. One for work and the computer with a special antiglare coating. Then one pair of bifocals for distance and reading the I wear for meetings. It all works in the end and I am thankful that my insurance covers most of it and what ever I am doing I can SEE! :)
