Another Thank U

Good Morning Friends,

I stayed up pretty late last night getting as many visits in as I could. There are some really awesome pieces out there. I was looking through all my 6x6 paper pads for a certain pattern that I remembered seeing and then it dawned on me it was on one of my cricut imagine pattern  cartridges. I am really thrilled with the imagine images. I especially love the Teresa Collins designs. I have a few of those.
On to my project.  Like I said I have a lot of Thank you's to make. I did not get my PT guys made. I think I will send that, it will probably be better for him to get it a couple of weeks later anyway.

Did you say Camping?

Hi Everyone,

I wanted this cartridge  " CAMPIN' CRITTERS" so bad when I first saw it, now that I have it I have hardly made anything with it. There were a ton of camping challenges when I got it and then they dwindled
I love this little character, so I was pretty excited when there was finally a challenge where I could use it.
Th card stock is from my stash the brown paper is from my scrap box. The two back ground papers are Basic Grey  6x6 paper pad Mellow. The little dream blurb is printed from the basic shapes on the imagine from "the good old days" cartridge. Is it cute or what? it is campers
All the printed paper for my guy in the sleeping bag are printed from the ELISE cartridge.

This is a 5x7 size card

I love how this card came out Now the only thing left is to figure out what kind of occasion to use it for.

Challenges:
Fantabulous cricut: camping
DCD: Anything goes

Thanks for stopping by again. I truly appreciate you visiting me.
Have a blessed day, Diana

THE ALMOST PERFECT ROSETTE- Tip Tuesday for CCR

Good Morning Friends.

I absolutely had to share this with you.  But I decided to do it in a video instead of a printed tutorial although you all may have preferred a pictorial tutorial. Head on over to Creative Cutter Room for more tutorials

I hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching  and being with me while I craft.

Special Thanks

Good Morning Everyone,

Another Monday I hope you all have a great start to your week.

One can never have enough Thank you cards. So, I just had to make another.  I need to make one for my PT guy, but this one just doesn't seem to fit his personality, so I will continue on and make some more. My last PT will be tomorrow and then we will revisit this in 4 weeks. I am working so hard to regain full range of motion on this right shoulder. It hurts, but I am determined. My DH has been gone for the last 2 weeks, but he loaded me up with all kinds of groceries before he left.  It is so nice to have him back home.  I did enjoy the healthy choice frozen dinners, go figure,  I forgot what real portion sizes are.

All my card stock is PTI and the stamps are Autumn leaves.  I used Tim Holtz
walnut stain distressed ink.
for the bird's eye I used a center flower from Asian fusion

Did someone say Rosette? or LUFP

Happy Sunday Everyone,

I made another card for LUFP. My plan was to link up everyday for the 14 days LUFP was running, but  to many other things got in the way.  I drove myself to PT yesterday, totally wiped me out, of course while I was out I stopped in the local craft store, and because the grand opening for the newly opened Target will be today, I wanted to get in there before the major crowds of people.  Ours has a grocery store portion to it and an escalator that takes your cart to the second floor.  I needed a couple of food items, so I picked them up and walked through the store to get some exercise,  I'm not quite ready to hit the gym, soon though.

A2 card
finished inside and out
My card is pretty simple
Kraft card stock
I used my scraps from Athentique: uncommon
I made these rosettes the other day I added some 3 Girl Jam ribbon
And some liquid pearls.

SHOUT OUT!!!!! Karen of Little scrap pieces

Good Evening Friends,

I can't remember who, but one of the questions in my posts was, how is your shoulder?

It is funny you should ask, This was the first time I drove in almost 5 weeks and I did not go far. I went to the Post Office to mail out all the prizes that you are all so patiently waiting for. Thank goodness they did not weigh a lot. My right shoulder feels like I have an anvil on it. I have PT tomorrow, but it looks like I will be able to drive myself , and I am thankful for that.   This has really been a long haul, but I am so grateful that it wasn't worse.  I don't know if it will ever be the same. It feels like my collar bone pushed my shoulder over to my arm a little, if that makes sense. My back was swollen from my neck over to my arm and down my back 1/2 way to my waist. I'm still not sleeping lying flat, but I did sleep in the bed for the first time on Monday. Thank God I'm on this side of the dirt!
So my friend Karen sends me this card and in it she says, think of all your blogger friends, sending prayers your way.
I'm telling you I felt them and I coveted them. I don't think I would have been this far if it were not for the prayers.

Here is a video SHOUT OUT!!!  I thought I would do something a little different This time, I hope you like it.

Have a Blessed day, Diana

Good Morning Friends,

Challenge THEME: Weddings or Anniversaries
open until 11:59 August 11, 2012

This is all about weddings or anniversaries. I made this for the cricut circle challenge with the exclusive "Cricut Circle Cartridge "Out of Character"
A friend of mine just had their 15th wedding anniversary-- I'm late- but she will get it anyway- late. I know she will love it.

I absolutely LOVE this cartridge.

So I wanted to make something I have never made before - this exploding box- is this cool or what? It was very easy just time-consuming.

This paper all cut like butter I used coredinations DCWV and PTI and American crafts cardstock.

I just love how this lettering looks

Here is how it looks before the box is opened.
The sentiment is from Verve stamps and the ink is Jenni Bowlin Brown sugar

I like how the 15 pops out of the box when it is opened. I used "pretty pennants" for the banner and the numbers are from the "out of character cartridge"

Prize: $10.00 Michael s gift card

My challenge entries:

FCC: Weddings /anniversaries

CHRISTMAS in July -- still going strong

Good Morning Friends,

I am so inspired by so many different artists out there, whether it be the masters, pop or crafting artists, it is all inspiring and keeps me wanting to improve my own skills.

I just love the Christmas in July that seems to be on all the blogs right now, and challenges abound everywhere. I am so excited to get my Christmas cards made early this year. I just need to get the list made out and envelopes addressed and stamped and then I can put them in the mail September 1st- just kidding hah ha.
I actually did get a Christmas card in July one year, I thought it was pretty funny.

For my card I used the MOJO MONDAYS sketch, which I really love and I used the Graphics 45 Christmas Emporium  card stock, My images are from Santa's village imagine cartridge.  The little stocking says Merry Christmas on it, that is the sentiment. I love the way this came out I think it has a great vintage look I think that may be due too the fact I did a lot of inking with Tim Holz walnut stain distressed ink.

I hope you enjoy my card:

SHOUT OUT!!!! A BUSY BEE and her 2 daughters

SHOUT OUT!!!!!

Good Afternoon Friends,

I have to say a big thanks to my friend Carri, alias A Busy Bee over at  Double-Click Connections and her daughters Megan and Brea. The two girls made this Thank you card for me from a princess scrapbook kit that I had sent Megan  for her birthday.  The first thing she said to her mom when she opened it was "I'm going to make her a thank you card from my paper kit."  How cute is that?

Carri coordinates the Creative Cutter room challenges and keeps things running smooth over there and periodically sends me goodies just because she was thinking of me.  I appreciate it so much. Here is a card she sent me along with some ATC's (blank ready to embellish).

Thanks Carri
Have a Blessed and great day Everyone. Diana

This is what I designed with

and this is what I made...

I made a set of 3X3 cards.  I always like making sets of cards this stamp set worked real well for making 4 totally different cards. I could exchange the sentiments on the cards and change colors for a totally different look.  If you are going to get any of the kits this would be the one to get, it is a smaller kit than the others and one way to try out the products from Shop pumpkin Spice and My Pink Stamper at a minimal of cost to you.

On to my other project This fun "MOO-ey Banner-- How fun with this be at a Birthday party. I colored each of the stamped images with different colors of the pro marker pens from letraset, also available at SPS, and then fussy cut each one of them out I then, raised them to give them dimension I also used cappuccino twine from the Twinery to hold the pennants together.

Shipping at SPS is always Free in the US with a $50 order.

Price is $25

Special - Moo-ey Doodle & Yankee Doodle - Buy Both and get the My Pink Stamper Tumbler for FREE and FREE Shipping

Link Up For Pink

Hi Friends,

Have you seen Link Up For Pink?
This is the 4th in the series--- I totally missed the first three and I am so sorry ---- Last year I was really on top of it.  Breast cancer Awareness is close to my heart, it has effected many of my family members and friends and it seems you can never have enough cards in this area. If not for the person going through treatment then, the family members.  Everyone involved needs prayers and encouragement . I have to give a shout out to the link up for Pink gals and those sponsoring the challenge this year-- Make sure to link up a project and give each of the designers some encouragement and love. We are in this together.

Here is my CAS project for the challenge.
