Good Morning Friends,
DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE:
Use flower on your project/or one 3-D flower
open until 11:59 on September 8, 2012
This was pretty fun ! I met up last March with the Cricut Circle group. Shannon Lerner was our hostess that night. We met in Santa Clara, CA. at Scrapbook island. These were already pre-cut for us from the Big Flowers cartridge, all we had to do was put it together.
Here is a close up of the Flower
I don't own this cartridge and I am not sure I would. I'm just not sure how often I would need big flowers, but if you decorate a lot, this might be a fun cartridge to have it went together very quickly
I used my friend Courtney Lee's glue gun, you can't see it (because I didn't photograph it, but her gun had either blue or purple glue in it, I thought it might look o.k. but it didn't. You really need a strong adhesive to hold the petals together. The hot glue worked great, just didn't look all that hot
I won some Cricut bucks there. I Applied them to my new cricut circle membership.
