MORE---- THURSDAY -Birthday Sundaes
I am so loving this Echo Park paper that I got yesterday. I know, I sound like a commercial. I'll try to peek your interest here. I printed most of it up so you will be seeing quite a bit of it for awhile. I hope you enjoy this card, as much as I did making it. This is an A7 card I'm entering it in the Birthday Sundaes challenge (click here), which is themed Stars and Stripes-- I've seen a lot of Red White and Blue lately (Don't get me wrong those are GREAT COLORS), so I just wanted to mix it up a bit. The stripes on the top star is the only pattern not from the echo park collection. That is off the Imagine more cartridge.
THURSDAY-- Getting Crickywith K. Andrews
The beginning of the card
The two pieces cut from the imagine
I started working on this a few days ago, it is for the getting Cricky with K. Andrews challenge (click here), but I really didn't know what I wanted to do with it. It is using the gel pens with the Chomas gel pen holders in the cricut. I used Cindy Loo and I made the blue image and that was it, it just sat there for a few days. Well, today my neighbor e-mailed me that his girlfriends father passed away Tuesday and the funeral is today. I thought this would make a beautiful sympathy card. I colored in the negative spaces with a blue metallic pen. I printed two pieces of paper from the Imagine cart. one 4" and one 4.2. Using an A2 vintage cream card stock and some ribbon I put it together. It is interesting what gets the creative juices going. I had to cut the gel pen image by hand -- Now I know why I love my cricut machines.

One downloads as a png file the other as a jpg. you then print them on any printer and then cut the paper to the size you want. I used Bazzill white card stock to print the purple and I used the INEXPENSIVE Georgia Pacific for the others and it worked fine.

WEDNESDAY-
What makes for a great vacation or road trip, when you have littles? Anything to keep them occupied and kept interested in learning and making it fun. That is what I say.
I think flash cards are one of the neatest things for fun and learning. I made these and laminated them, they are the project at the beginning of the book of Sesame street and friends. I loved doing this project and I am entering it into the Monthly Cricut Circle Challenge. I like that they are laminated that way you can wipe them down if you get sticky fingers on them.
If you are interested all the directions are at the beginning of the book or you can watch my video.
Thanks for stopping by have a great night. I might be back later just to blog around. Love to read your comments.

TUESDAY- MORNING- cooking with Cricut Challenge
Good morning everyone,
Yesterday I received my set of three K. Andrew stamps. The very first stamp I saw was " you've got purse-onality"(Click here) to check out her site
This was really confirmation because the image I was working on was this Hello Kitty purse, actually luggage bag, this sentiment went perfectly with it.
I was making this for the Cooking with Cricut (CLICK HERE)challenge, today is the last day for the water melon challenge so I am posting it now. I had so much fun making this with those little water melons-- I think they are 5/8 's of an inch, the bag was cut at 4"
I am also entering it into the bitten by the bug 2. challenge

Sunday- Morning
Good Morning Everyone,
That Banana bread sure was good.
On to more fun things-- A few weeks ago I won a random drawing over at Hawaii Paper Party, Cely reached 50 followers. She is fast approaching 100. Wouldn't it be great if we could help her get there, if you are not a follower I suggest you check her site out, she is very talented and sweet. I've been trying to think what to do with all the stuff I won. I had to start somewhere, the 10 giraffes already put together looked like a place to begin. I came up with a design, some backgrounds and paper. The block of paper behind the giraffe is an alteration of the original from the imagine more cartridge. I used cuttle bug embossing folder, sparkle gel pen in navy around the edges and bakers twine around the color block
It is an A2 size card,
for the sentiment I used MPS punny-licious stamp set. I call this a joint effort Cely put together 10 of these little giraffes they are 3 inches, aren't they adorable? Here is a link to her site CLICK HERE. She also threw in this cute peachy keen Uncle same face in the congratulations note. Thank you Cely it was fun winning over at your blog.
I hope you enjoy this card I had fun making this card. If you happen to see a challenge this will work for this let me know. Thanks for coming by to visit

SATURDAY-AFTERNOON
It's me again, Clean, everything is ironed I've got two more loads of clothes to wash and the Banana Bread is out of the oven. I think I will have some of that before I continue on in the art room. I will probably post something later.
I had some requests for the recipe so here it is:
SATURDAY- Morning
Good Morning Everyone,
Here is my agenda for today- sounds like work huh?
I'm de-hoarding and cleaning up my art studio - making banana bread and basically, hanging around all day, at 7:00pm PST, I will be on U-stream, watching MPS LIVE with KARLEE in their question session.
I will probably hop on my bike somewhere in the day to work off the banana bread (actually maybe I should do that before I have some.)
This week has turned out really well, I got the Operation write home cards shipped out and also the Purple freedom cards. I got a shipment of basic grey paper in.Yeah! - I got some new Ideas to work on.
the pic is of all the purple freedom cards I shipped, they had to be purple and they are variations of the first one I made. These are for the awareness against domestic violence and encouraging the victims to seek help.
I will be checking in, on and off all day today with all of you. I uploaded another video yesterday for those who own the imagine you might want to watch it, for those of you who don't, you may want one, if you watch it. I love it -the imagine that is, not so much my video, although I think they are informative.
Here is the link CLICK HERE to the post and more links there - if you would like to or consider making some cards I think you might have until the 30th to get them in the mail
See you later. Hugs to all

More Friday- Frosted designs
B&W and another color
Recipe later---I'm back-- Something came up--
Anyway I saw this challenge yesterday and I had been trying to think what to do for it. I came up with the trifold -Z-card
12x8 AC cardstock-- folded in 1/3rds. From two thirds over to the middle you trim the top part off
I then, cut a piece of white card stock and embossed it using Kassi's brocade cuttlebug folder.
The label was punched three times 2x in purple and once in the white which was then embossed.
I used the dotted B7W paper from Me and My Big ideas for the middle panel, For the last panel I used the deep purple swirl paper from the DCWV Nantucket stack.
the stamp is inkadinkadoo and the ink is colorbox
If you want to see a video on the tri-fold card

THURSDAY-- My Creative Time -CHALLENGE
For this project it is cricutless. Everything was punched or cut by hand. I really enjoy cutting paper by hand, it is very relaxing and meditative for me. My card stock base is Bazzill basic white, The other paper is DCWV spring Flower shower stack. That is basically it I used dimensional s to pop up the flowers and the MS around the corner punch set- I think it is called effervescent.
I'm entering this into Emma's MCT challenge.
I hope you enjoy. Have a great day.

Wednesday- Hoarders and challenges
The other day I happened across a show on TV, while I was putting the OWH cards together. I spent a few hours watching hoarders. I was fascinated and saddened. They actually call these people SICK
Sensitive, Intelligent, Creative and I think the K stands for knowledgeable, but don't hold me to that. I had heard of this show before, but had never watched it one of the episodes was about a man who hoarded rats, of all things. They became like his family after his wife ( age 39) had died of a sudden heart attack, they became his companions and family. The two that he started with soon became 2,000. When the neighbors started complaining about rats by his house Authorities came. They treated the man very humanely and they were very concerned with his pet rats. These actually were pets, they were domesticated rats. At the end of the show they had found homes for 500 of the rats so far, which in so doing this, is helping this man through his grieving process. I highly recommend watching at least one of these episodes-- What did I do ?
Put it this way, it was trash day in our neighborhood that night, I even borrowed my neighbors garbage can.
I have another load for the women's shelter and some for goodwill. It's not like I have a lot of stuff, but I have what I need and for that, I am grateful . That is why I want to share the card I made today. Have a SUNNY Day

I used DCWV and K& co. papers.
I also used Swiss dots embossing folder and swirls.

I love this stack.

My favorite project right now is Operation Write Home, which I just did yesterday OWH (here is the link). I spent a lot of time on it , but I am grateful to our troops for their sacrifice, and the time I spent is nothing in comparison to what they are giving up. The project above is one of the 7 cards I did for the challenge over at Kassidy's Inking it up crazy.
