Hi Everyone,
What an interesting combo for a title, huh?
While my background paper technique is called water color smooshing, at least in the crafting world, but in the art world it is called mono print. This is where you add liquid color to a plastic sheet or plexiglass glass etc. than lay a blank sheet of water color paper on top and press to transfer the colors or/and image, lift gently at an angle let dry and the amzing thing ---no 2 are alike - fun right?
I made a few backgrounds, but this is the one I am going with, I like it. For my re-inkers I used cotton candy, pixie, flaxen cranberry and dark chocolate. I then, placed my watercolor paper on it pressed in removed and let it dry completely until it became flat. Then, I used it as my background. I added the sentiment He is Risen, because Jesus is, and then a cross in an egg.. I love the contrast, simply city and the message this card portrays. I hope you do to. What to you think? is it a keeper? The colors represent the blood Jesus shed for the sins of the world.
