Happy July!!!!

Welcome to the DL.ART JULY 2021 Linky challenge

How was the month of June for you? I sure hope it was good and you are having all kinds of fun.  I can not believe we are half way through the year

While I was working on my project today, my Cricut bit the dust in the pen housing area. So I decided to share a beautiful Flag of the United States of America with all of you. My silhouette is not working well either, it is the original. I think it is about 10 years old. I think it is time for new machines.  Any suggestions?

Here are a few questions for you.

#1. Do you have a Cricut?

#2. Have you ever had this problem? and if so, what did you do about it do?

#3 Do you make any special project in July?

On to the challenge: As always anything goes

  1. Hi Diana,
Yes, the month's have gone by so quickly. Love the flag!!!
I have the Cricut Explorer and the Silhouette Portrait. I do use both. I have not had any issues with my machines. I don't usually make patriotic projects, I think only for a challenge.
Have a wonderful day my friend,

  2. Oh no, I hate it when my go-to tools break, wear out or fail. I don't have a Cricut, although all of my friends seem to have gone to it. In fact, I held out on a die cutting machine for years after everyone else had one. My trusty Big Shot has held up for years and I don't want to tempt fate by switching! Good luck on getting your Cricut back in order.
As for July projects, we have a lot of family birthdays this month so I'm usually busy with cards, decorations, and party favors. With my daughter still being careful about COVID, since the grandkids aren't vaccinated, they'll be skipping the big birthday parties this year but we'll have a small family one with a few good friends.

  3. I have the first 12x12 Cricut, it's still kicking. I like that it doesn't need a computer or tablet like the ones today do. The mats wear out very fast though and I guess the newer machines use less pressure so they don't wear out as fast. I didn't have a problem with my Cricut but with my Gypsy, which is broken again. I know how to fix and reset it it's just time consuming and I am busy lol. This month I make birthday cards and decorations for my SIL I'm excited!!

  4. Sorry to hear about your Cricut! I have one I never use. Would you like it? Email me, if you'd like it! I'll happily give it to you. It's an Expression 2, I think. I like my Silhouette so much better. Hope you had a good 4th!

  5. Yes, I have a Cricut (the original), but never seem to use it. If you lived close to me, I would give it to you!!! I've never had any electronic issues with it; just user issues. haha I wish I had a solution for you; maybe contact Cricut for some troubleshooting? I didn't make any 4th of July cards this month only a red, white & blue birdhouse card. ;-)

  7. I don't have a Cricut. I broke my Cuttlebug though. Using as it was NOT intended. I cross stitched a July project this year but no special paper project. Have a wonderful month!

  8. Hello, Diana! Thank you for the July linky! As for your questions, sadly I do not own a Cricut. No special projects in July - my mojo has been missing for several months now.
