A Little Update from My Studio: DL.ART Art/Postcard Club
I wanted to take a moment to share something special I’ve been quietly building over the last few months the DL.ART Art/Postcard Club.
For the past three months, I’ve been creating my snail mail art subscription. Each month, subscribers receive an original art postcard or print, a coordinating sticker, and a letter where I share the story, inspiration, and and maybe a little history about the piece. Everything is thoughtfully wrapped, often in custom-designed paper that ties the whole experience together.
This club grew out of my love for tangible art and meaningful connection. In a world that feels increasingly digital, there’s something really grounding about creating something that travels through the mail, something you can hold, display, or even pass along.
One question I’ve been asked recently is about the February artwork with the bunny ears. Easter falls early this year, on March 20th, and because my art mail ships toward the end of each month, I wanted subscribers to receive this piece ahead of time. That way, they can enjoy it throughout March, or even send it along to a friend if they’d like.
The February postcard features a whimsical blue bow with simple daisy flowers and soft white bunny ears, painted in loose watercolor. It’s meant as a gentle transition into spring rather than a last-minute holiday piece. I also included extra coordinating stickers in that mailing, so subscribers have a little something extra to keep or share.
That timing, mailing at the end of the month is very intentional. It allows each piece to arrive with room to breathe, to be enjoyed throughout the coming season rather than just for a single day.
If you enjoy art, snail mail, seasonal inspiration, or collecting small meaningful pieces, the DL.ART Art/Postcard Club might be something you’d love. New subscribers can join and unsubscribe at any time, and each month continues to build on the rhythm of the year. At least that is what I have planned for this year. Next year maybe a totally different theme.
Thank you, as always, for supporting my art and following along with what’s happening in my studio. I’m truly grateful for the connection.
Warmly,
Diana
