Hi Friends,

I can not believe how quick this week went by. This morning I get up early run to the post office, do the grocery shopping come home put it away, get my gym bag ready, because I want to get the work out in and out of the way early so I can blog. I'm just ready to leave and hubby calls and he says they have the parking garage closed and there is no where to park.
PLAN B-- call a friend chat for a while, (and you know who you are, because I know you read my blog)  go to the drug store, and then to the local craft store-- OMGoodness  --- they had spellbinders for 50% off--- I'm so excited.
I will be using those soon--- then I went to the health club and there were like -- no, not like----- there were  a dozen peeps in there, 4 guys the rest gals -- now I have a ton of laundry to do
while the laundry is washing, I have ironing and then I will try to blog (visit).

For dinner I'm making pork tenderloin medallions in an orange sauce with wild rice, baby carrots and a salad.

I have been cooking a lot this week and when you don't see me on here that is why that is my other art I love to cook and paint.

Remember the flower arrangement I made for Decorate to Celebrate  out of the Authentique paper
I did a whole ensemble here-- Flowers cupcake holders and card.

I love how it all turned out

I used Flower shoppe and Teresa Collins Chic and Scary.

FEBRUARY 16, 2012***THURSDAY****CARRI'S BIRTHDAY BLOG HOP

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to Carri's birthday blog hop.

You should have arrived here from Cely's and if not you can always start back at the beginning at Georgiana or continue on from here the choice is yours. We just want you to join the party and have some fun and maybe you will win along the way.

My friend Carri is having a Birthday today, isn't that great? I am so thrilled to be part of this celebration she is such a wonderful, caring and helpful person. I just love her to pieces.

I was stumped as to what to make because I have so many projects going on I wanted to do something that was easy, but because it was Carri's Birthday I wanted it to be something special. I have been working on this for a couple of weeks. I love the way the way it came. It was easy it just took a lot of time. It is one of those projects that you can work a little here and a little there and evetually you are done.

I used Flower shoppe and I cut everything at 3". I used stickles in the middle of each flower to give it some bling. I named the piece, because the flower in the middle is different and special compared to all the others. I printed the paper for that one, from Vintage papers (IC).

" Happy Birthday, You are Unique"

It was so much fun and so relaxing I actually almost fell asleep while working on it. I hope you like it.Check out everyone on the lists designs, for Carri's birthday. I put the list there in case you get lost.
There are some prizes along the way:

SATURDAY AFTERNOON-

I followed the design according to the sketch except I flipped it. I used Vintage cream card stock
DCWV patterned paper. The heart image is from Cricut Flower Shoppe and I pleated a burgundy organza ribbon behind it and used foam tape to pop it up.
This is a square card 4.25 x4.25.  There is a lot going on in that little space.

MONDAY--AGAIN and some challenges

This was so fun!!!! I was so excited that BBTB2 (Click Here) had a challenge using the mouse from the Meow cartridge.  Do you remember I just got this cartridge when I was in MI.? So this is the first time I have used it. Also My Craft Spot had a challenge to use a flower and this was the first time I used Flower Shoppe. I love it. This is also the first time I used this imagine cartridge for the vintage papers. Fantabulous cricut  (Click Here)has a challenge going for a Thank you card.  My Sheri Crafts also has a challenge which I am linking to, with a theme of Thankful or Thanksgiving.
Thank you with Circles was another challenge over at Die Cut Dreams, those ears look pretty round to me, so this qualifies..
Everything was printed from the Cricut cartridges except the Card stock is smokey gray from PTI
So I am entering this in all three challenges.
I used Jenni Bowlin brown sugar ink and the sentiment is inkadinkadoo.
