I love these colors together. Personally I like golden delicious apples and Granny smith to eat. I know the granny smiths seem a bit tart sometimes, but I just like the flavor.   In case you are wondering if that is an apple or not ,Yes it is, let's call it a granny smith.

Good Morning Friends,

I made this card yesterday for a challenge and then when i looked on the challenges for today I realized that if I added a few elements it would work for  a few more. I was hoping the added elements would not take away from the design.  I was very pleased I think the  added elements actually add to the design in a good way. I am very pleased with it.  See if you can spot what I added to the revamped card.

SATURDAY-Afternoon-Again-challenges

I needed to make a get well card for my mother in law. She is in the hospital right now, in stable condition.  I figured if I'm going to make a card I might as well see what challenges there are out there that I can enter.

The first challenge was my own to cheer  mom up.  I thought it came out very colorful and happy!!!

I used a sketch PKS, a punch  Frosted Designs, it has wingspaper take weekly , it has been distressed  and it has a ribbon.

Use live simply (I used sentimentals) CCCC Butterfly imagine,create, share

I used the fiskars scallop hole punch. That is one of my favorite go to punches

MONDAY----MORNING-- AUGUST1ST CARD FOR AMY

I made this card for Amy and it is going in the mail today along with the stamp set. Amy won the stamp drawing last week, so I just wanted to make a card for her (you Amy)-- No other challenge than Congrats. I was so busy yesterday I never got a chance to post any cards. I'll have another one for later on today.

FILE FOLDER

Today I used the DCWV 12 x24 paper to create a file folder.
I used the gypsy to do the design. I rotated it 90 degrees to make it as large as possible. The largest I could get it was 17.50 to fit the width of the mat. Now I have a file folder with a design instead of the standard. I used the layer button to make the Flourish. When you do this--- you need to make sure you rotate the layer also or it will not fit correctly. I tried to hide the lines on the fold of the file, I was not successful. I will try at some other point.
