MARCH 24, 2012***SATURDAY***FOREVER 21......***

Happy Saturday Morning,

For all of you that do the Monday through Friday work week. I hope you are having a great sleep in.
I got up pretty early today, as I usually  do. I really wanted to post this card yesterday, it was our my niece's  21st Birthday and I made this card for her.  I did not want her to see it before she had it in her little paws.
I put in a forever 21 gift card. We went shopping there  a few years back and it was fun to see the things she liked to look at, way before she was 21. Now she is a mom of a 5 month old,  her tastes have changed.  That is what happens throughout life.

oh, I must be keeping you in suspense.

I made this  from this sketch to enter in the My Mind's Eye Challenge

This is an A7 card

Basic white card stock
All my papers are from My mind's Eye: Lost & found Madison Ave.
The rosettes are all handmade, I topped the die cut buttons with  stickles
I put liquid pearls around the edges of the scalloped circle
MS punch was used for the edged strips of paper
I used Ashlyn's alphabet  for the sentiment and the 21st

I just love the way this came out.  These papers are great!!!!!
and you can purchase them at  Shop Pumpkin Spice , which by the way is the company I design for

Have a blessed day, Diana

MONDAY Morning Again-Sad but part of life I know I will be needing this

Good Morning again Everyone,
Sad but true, I know I will be needing some of these this year so I am going to make a few for future use.
I tried to keep the card somewhat monochromatic with a tone on tone, with  ink matching the paper . I used PTI melon berry with Jenny Bowlin chicken feed ink.  The flower stamp is from Autumn leaves
I used vintage cream for the top label  the sentiment is from Inkadinkadoo.  It is placed on top of another  label, cut from My Minds Eye, a Beautiful life. I used stickles star dust to place a little dot in the center of the flower.
I think it is a very pretty sympathy card (MIM #16)without being dreary.
