SUNDAY-AFTERNOON- MY --PTI --SHIPMENT and a Birthday Sundaes, Love to Crop and Casual Friday challenge

Hi Friends,
It is Sunday afternoon.
Here is my PTI shipment in Video form  You tube, feel free to fast forward, but here is the card I made today from the paper that arrived on Thursday.

This is a criss-cross card. I made it for Birthday Sundaes challenge (Click Here).  I am sure anyone celebrating their birthday in the fall would appreciate a card like this. I made a belly band for mine and connected it with a scalloped circle cut from the same paper.
I love this paper I guess if you watch the video you will see that I do.
I also decided to enter this in Love to crop(Click Here): Fall colors and Cas-ual Friday (click Here): Fall.   I feel very melancholy today because of 911. So much has changed in ten years.

THURSDAY-TRIFOLD PAGODA CARD

Someone had been asking about a tutorial on a Tri-fold card. I have been wanting to make more cards with the Pagoda cartridge so this was perfect for me to get to use some of the images that I have been wanting to  make cards with.

I did a video of the trifold card it is very lengthy mainly, because I am going through my thought process as I do the card the whole card took about 45 minutes, but I did eliminate the cricut cutting portion from you viewers so you wouldn't have to suffer through it. Plus I did have to re-cut a couple of the images because I had changed the setting on my machine ( I have no idea how that happened.)

I t is in three parts Pagoda Episode#2 parts 1, 2, 3

Here is the recipe:

1 12x12 AC black card stock - cut down to 8 1/2 by 12 folded on the 4 and the 8
1 12x12 Core'dinations in blue hue
1 12x12 DCWV  from the Far east stack
1 8 1/2 x 11 Lavender moon PTI

Doll cut at 2 1/2
Umbrella cut at  3"
Temple  2"
Bowl 1 1/2"

Comments are always read and appreciated

Sesame Street Seasons- Box for Flash cards

Straight out of the book Page 7 --, Elmo is found on Pg. 49 and the Box and lid are on page 69.

For this project you will need : 8 sheets of 12x12 paper
The booklet reads:  black , red, white Blue( I used 2 different colors of blue, purple, green yellow and orange.

It called for rainbow ribbon: I used yellow (maize) grosgrain Offray brand.
Foam squares (pop dots)
Adhesive.

Fun project to do. I have a video of this also, still trying to work out some of the bugs (I didn't mean for that to be a pun using a cricut and all)

The box is cut @5" 2x
the blue box top is cut at 5" 2x
the yellow box top is cut @ 4 3/4 2 x

all parts of Elmo are cut at 4" with the  real dial size off
The one, two, and three are all cut @ 1" The white paper is then ready for the rest of the numbers and words for the flashcards,
which will be the next part of this project.

Your Story Part 2

I had put captions on this video - but they did not show up on the video- When you hear the term heating rack I really meant to say cooling rack.  There is one point where I talk about a cover the measurement should be 6 inches not 6 1/4, which is great because you can get 4 covers out of a 12 x12 sheet of card stock.
There were some other comments, but they were only measurements if you have questions about any of the measurements or products just ask and leave me a way to get the answer back to you.   Thanks for watching my video

Your Story

If you have been keeping up with any of this blog you know my "Your Story" arrived a couple of weeks ago - I've been trying to get video's up----- they take forever to upload. I must be doing something wrong

Anyway, Here is the first part of a two part video on the Your Story -- I got this for $34.99 not counting the cartridges they varied in price.  The second part will show how to use it.  Hope you enjoy the video

J's haul

Here are the goodies I got at Joann's today. It is 4:30 the water is still not on, but it was a beautiful drive over to Joann's and the store was not too crowded.  The other brand glitter glue is a bit harder to squeeze, then the name brand. I hope you enjoy the video, I hope I get better at making them.  You'll never guess what I did right after I made the video.  I open the album to look inside and I laid the back cover on the glitter glue, Lucky for me there was a plastic cover on it -- and thank goodness for baby wipes (hence still no water).
