The beginning of the card
The two pieces cut from the imagine
I started working on this a few days ago, it is for the getting Cricky with K. Andrews challenge (click here), but I really didn't know what I wanted to do with it. It is using the gel pens with the Chomas gel pen holders in the cricut. I used Cindy Loo and I made the blue image and that was it, it just sat there for a few days. Well, today my neighbor e-mailed me that his girlfriends father passed away Tuesday and the funeral is today. I thought this would make a beautiful sympathy card. I colored in the negative spaces with a blue metallic pen. I printed two pieces of paper from the Imagine cart. one 4" and one 4.2. Using an A2 vintage cream card stock and some ribbon I put it together. It is interesting what gets the creative juices going. I had to cut the gel pen image by hand -- Now I know why I love my cricut machines.
Absolutely gorgeous, Diana! The borders are awesome, together they are stunning! You did such a fabulous job and what a very beautiful sympathy card, the hardest to make, in my opinion. LOVE it! :)
