Hi Friends,

I made it to the scrapbook Expo in Santa Clara on Friday. I attended a few workshops, but was very careful on what I purchased. The very next day we had unexpected visitors that were diverted from Hawaii due to the 2 threatening hurricanes, they have been visiting  the better part of the week. We've had a lot of food and a lot of fun. I hit the gym today and now tomorrow begins my usual routine.
My sister and brother-in law were heading to Hawaii to renew their wedding vows, which they took 30 years ago. I was one of her brides maids way back then, so it was a thrill to share this anniversary with them.
I have been busy cooking and spending quality time with them, which is why I have not been around lately, in case you were looking for me. We took them to a restaurant on the Ocean that a had a special "Hawaiian Mahi", which was incredible, it was lightly breaded with coconut and macadamia nut with a kiwi lime guava sauce and mango pieces.  We were trying to make it as special for them as we could, knowing they were missing out on what they had hoped for.  We have  had a great time and we will surely miss them.  They will be flying home tomorrow.

I will show you one quick card.

I made this shaker card at the SEI workshop- (I actually made 5 of them.)

Here is a sneak peek:
