Happy Monday Everyone,
I managed to catch the flu and it is no fun, but what is fun -- is I can still make cards and post. This is for all of. I love you guys you make me feel better when I am sick (actually any time). A girl scout came around yesterday with cookies, the hubs answered the door and he was going to buy one box, so I had to go the door (of course I told her to keep her distance, because I did not want her to get sick.) and I asked her what she had there, she told me and I said OK, we will take one of each. You can't just buy one and the girl scouts need our support. Do you agree?
On to my card this is a file from the silhouette store, this is the closest I had to a cover plate. I used PTI Aqua mist and stampers select and the stamp set is "words of encouragement, chocolate ink . Stickles and my sequins are VERVE. The darker blue is from the winter collection of AC cardstock I stuck it all together with Tombow mono multi purpose glue
I hope you like my card.

Have a blessed day, Diana

We bought our Girl Scout cookies from next door neighbor girl. Hubby & daughter like Samoas. I like Trefoils. Hubby's bday is today, Groundhog's Day. The Groundhog saw its shadow so we can blame the 6 more wks of Winter on my hubby. Heehee. Made hubby's fav cake, Pineapple-Upside-Down Cake. Cake cooled & it flipped perfectly out of the pan w/ 12 pineapple rings & cherries. A reg size can of pineapple has 10 slices of pineapple rings and so I always have to buy a small can to get the remaining 2 slices. Why oh why does not someone iunderstand that a 13" pan needs 12 slices and not 10?

ReplyDeleteI'm trying to get some crafting and commenting in before work while I still have a little energy left.
I'm a teacher and always try to support the students who come to me to buy GS cookies which can get a little dangerous {costly. lol} depending on how many there are.
I love your beautiful card. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such wonderful comments! The cross embossing folder you asked about is from Joann's. ReplyDeleteVery pretty Diana...love the colors, sparkles, and sequins! Hope you're feeling better soon, and Girl Scout cookies are definitely a good way to go anytime! Our youngest sold them every year from the time she joined in kindergarten till she graduated from high school...they have been sadly missed in our house now that she's in college!
ReplyDeleteDiana, I'm so sorry to hear you've been sick! I hope you're growing stronger and healthier every day. Your card is just beautiful!
