Hi Everyone,

Welcome to  "It's A Girl Thing: Turner Syndrome Awareness 3rd Annual Blog Hop.

For this year we have added a Card Challenge so that more people can play along with us!

Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder where a female is born missing partial or all of her second X chromosome leaving her with life-long medical issues and learning disabilities.  This condition occurs one in every 2,000 female births worldwide, but is more common among pregnancies that do not survive to full term.  That is why Turner Syndrome Females are considered MIRACLES!

Prize Winners  for the hop will be announced on March 13th, 2021.

  37. I love your cards and the truth of that sweet scripture. Each of these miracle girls is created so very wonderfully by a loving God. Thanks for using your art and your blog to promote TS. I first heard about TS three years ago on Lori's first hop, which is sad for an elementary teacher with over thirty years of experience. This year, I learned that Dr. Turner is from my hometown of OKC---even sadder that I hadn't heard. Thanks so much for sharing!

  38. What a sweet image - great design. I had not heard of Turners until about 2 years ago - and I was a nurse. Didn't know that 1-2000 girls were affected.

  39. I love the colors in this card, Diana! As a woman with TS and TSF volunteer, I really appreciate your efforts to spread awareness of TS. Even though I was diagnosed 33 years ago, I did not learn until recently that only 1 to 2% of us survive to birth.

Everyone, please check out my blog post on the TSF blog on February 24th!

  40. What wonderful artwork! This little girl is so cute and the lovely sentiment goes perfectly with her. Thanks for sharing your artwork with the stamp community in bringing awareness about these miracle girls! I find the fact that they are 1 out of 2,000, but so little is know about this just floors me.

  41. What a gorgeous card you have created for the Turner Syndrome awareness blog hop. That little girl is so cute and the sentiment is just so appropriate for all the little miracle girls. I still cannot fathom that TS affects as many as 1 in 2,000 and so little is known or being done about the syndrome. Thanks for joining in the blog hop to at least bring awareness to our stamping community.

  49. Your card is cute and the sentiment so true. I had never heard of Turner Syndrome until my newborn daughter was diagnosed at birth with it. She is on the more involved end of the spectrum and faces many life long challenges, yet we have met so many people and had experiences we never would have had if she had been born with the usual set of chromosomes. She brings out the good in people and is a blessing to us and others. Thank you for helping to raise awareness of Turner Syndrome.
