Hi Everyone,

I hope you are having a wonderful Monday.
Has it been a good Monday for you? or has it been fraught with problems?

Mine started out really good, actually the problem all began yesterday. My black ink cartridge was not printing, so I went out first thing this am to buy a new one. Three others were expired so I thought I would buy them also. Well, you have to order them or buy them in the multi pack. So I thought OK, I will buy the multi pack. because you get 6 and it would have cost me more just to buy 3.  I go home put the black in, it reads genuine hp cartridge. Black is not printing. I get online, I watch 5 videos trying to figure out how to fix it.
Bottom line... I need a new printer. The sad thing is, this printer is a photo printer and has a great scanner on it. My search is on. Any tips on printers and your experiences would greatly be appreciated.
I am hoping I can return the other inks now, that would be a good portion toward the new printer. we shall see.I will keep you posted

So How fun is this? All the patterns are made from stamps, no DSP here.
My card stock is PTI Fine linen the stamps sets I used are "Asian Fusion"  and "sketched shapes". The ink is CTMH Thistle, sky, flaxen and chocolate  and versamark onyx black. I inked all the edges with chocolate. The twine is from my stash. The button is a deep purple from my vintage buttons collection.

Hi Friends,

As always I look forward to Monday's, because it is the beginning of a new week.  This is no different than any other, just move forward, the past is the past and there is now and the future. So make the most of it.
I have a good feeling about this week and the coming months.

I created the background by using one of the stem stamps from PTI Asian fusion and criss-crossing it to give the diagonal background, from Ashley Canon Newell idea, then colored in the flowers with the Shinhan markers
Card stock: PTI classic kraft stampers select

INK: CTMH chocolate and desert sand

I very rarely do these CAS cards, but this was a quick one and I love how it came out.  All cardstock is PTI. Stamped sentiment is from Asian Fusion and the ink is dark chocolate.  Although I would normally do these banners from scraps I did not find any scrap colors I wanted for this card so I trimmed a 7/8" of the top of the cardstock and then created each pennant to form the banner I used liquid glass to hold down the twine (from my ETSY store.

Hi Friends,

Here is My Monday inspiration for you.

Too bad it is a sympathy card. A few weeks ago my nephews wife's brother died in a fluke accident.  He had been hoping for a job for a long time so he could support his family. He got the job and the second day or week ( I'm not sure, I got the story third hand) He fell off of a truck and hit his head and died.  I am so sad for the family and my prayers go out to them. I have some cards in stock, but I wanted to make one special for them.  I like the way this turned out

The base is PTI vanilla cream, each of the layered border dies are from top to bottom lavender moon, hibiscus burst and scarlet jewel. My sentiment is from Asian fusion, stamped with Jenni Bowlin bubble gum. For the borders I used Spellbinders.
