Happy Tuesday,

So Yesterday I was telling you about How I love to sit and daydream, when I have time. Today I am sharing a card with the sentiment "fly away with me. I have never been up in a hot air balloon, Have you? and where were you? How long did you stay up? Was it fun or scary?
Here is my Monday card. I love to sit in my cozy chair and think about the good old days, this card I made for today reminds me of just that.
This is another one of my favorite stamp sets from 2010. You have probably seen many of my cards using this set from PTI . For the balloons CTMH pomegranate, tangerine and pansy for the clouds Lagoon ink and versamark onyx black for the sentiment. I was inspired by dawn  Mcvey and Melisa Phillips .

I love how this one came out.

In August  we have  a ton of birthdays in our family, in fact there are three of us that I share my birthday with.  Anyway, I have no idea who will be getting this card yet, but for sure I will be using it.

I used the PTI Asian fusion stamp from PTI, one of the first ones I purchased from them and one of my favorite go to for a quick message.

I also used a TH texture fades embossing folder to get the texture on the vase. There you have it that's my card today.

Good Morning Friends,

It was the eleventh hour and I decided to sign up for a juried arts and crafts fair. We shall see, I won't know for a week

I did this one years ago in the summer and it is super busy. I also was part of it last year in November and I did pretty good.  I thought I would make a few new items and this seemed to go pretty quick. I used the sketched shapes stamp set from PTI, the inks are CTMH creme brulee, saddle, lagoon and Holly hock.

My good camera battery died this morning so I had to use my little guy.

The card stock inside is lemon tart,lavender moon , spring rain and aqua mist all from PTI the cover is stampers select white and Royal velvet printed papers..

Good Morning friends,
I hope you are enjoying this Memorial day weekend.

You've got a friend in me. My card base is PTI classic kraft,  and tropical teal prints underneath the water color paper . The stamps I used are from CTMH Ivy lane card making kit and  the May stamp of the month set from Close to my heart You've got a friend. I used saddle and Lagoon ink from CTMH and the funny thing as I watercolor effect-ed them ( is hat a word?) the thinning of the ink gave a melon kind of color and the thinning of the lagoon gave it an aqua hue. I stamped on top of the colonial white and inked the edges with saddle ink, then added it to the card with 3-D foam tape, then I used a pearl pen in ice white to certain areas
of the stamped lowers

Hello Friends,

Another Monday, and life is good our temps are back in the normal high 60's low 70's. I have to say those 100 degree days really are tough to take.  Most people in our area do not have air conditioning, because we normally have a sea breeze going and the few days, if any in the year the temps are very comfortable.  Hopefully that was it for this year.

I have tons of birthdays in the family in May, so you will be seeing a lot of birthday cards this month.

Here is one I made this morning. Watercolor backgrounds seem to be real popular right now. For this card I used PTI Classic Kraft, terracotta tile and CTMH Lagoon. The water color paper I used is 90# Strathmore.  I really prefer 300# WC paper, but for cards the weight of the 90# is best for my needs. The button is from my ETSY store and the twine is from my stash. Card stock is recollections and PTI stamp set is PTI "beautiful Blooms".

Do these colors really say Happy Birthday?  Are you going to give the water color background a try?
