Hi Friends,
Welcome to the BBTB2 challenge. Our DT sister Michelle has chosen the challenge this week, she has challenged us to create a card, layout or project using  " A flower" as the theme.
You must use a cricut cartridge with a die cut. That is it!! and have fun.

I used Kate's ABC's and cut the all the images from AC white card stock and then copic colored them. This was a super fun card to make, it took quite a while because of all the pieces, but that is what made it so fun

The sentiment is from the  Artfully sent cricut cartridge stamp bundle and CTMH chocolate ink

Supplies used.
American Craft cardstock
Artfully sent cricut cartridge bundle
Kate's ABC's cartridge

Hi Friends,
Welcome to the BBTB2 challenge. Our DT sister Melanie chose the challenge this week, she has challenged us to create a card, layout or project for "Summer fun". I don't normally do layouts, but I recently acquired the Cricut "Artbooking" cartridge and this cartridge makes it so easy - Don't you just love how my layout came out?  All I did was follow the page elements and cut everything at the same size (ratio - to each other). I did add some highlights to the title and some goggles and a water tube turtle. I am not quite sure what you call it, but I thought it was super cute. Thank you so much Melanie, this was a fun challenge for me.

Here is a little tutorial of how I did my tree...

I cut the tree and the leaves out of the same color cardstock. then I colored the layer that would be on the bottom darker. I used the CTMH topiary marker.

I pop dotted it on top of the lighter leaves on top of the tree and offset it to give it more dimension

I used CTMH chocolate ink and inked the edges of the tree.  These are both very subtle, but give an added element to the design.

Now that you have seen my project here, go over to the BBTB2 challenge blog check out what my talented DT sisters have created to inspire you. Then, go create a "Summer Fun" project  and link up your own  card, project or layout.

If you don't have the Cricut cartridge "Artbooking" and you would like to order it Please order it from my online close to my heart store.
