Happy Friday Everyone,
The red heart is for - National wear  red day to bring awareness about heart disease being the number 1 killer in women.

I made this card for a few challenges.  Sadly one of my good friends fathers passed away on Wednesday and I thought this would make a good sympathy card, even though it looks like a valentine day card.

The papers are G45 Amour, The crinkle ribbon is from DL.ART Valentine bundle Red Hot Love. The sketch is from mojo and the dies are spellbinder  squares and hearts and jaded blossom stitched circles.

Hi Everyone,

The next Holiday other than lots of Birthdays is Halloween, so I'm getting a few of those cards made to give to the Little's so they can't be too spooky.
would this scare a 7 year old?

I wanted it kind of scary

This was so fun to make, I used my scraps from this past weeks projects and I went for lots of embellishments. I definitely knew I was going to use the "Purple Haze" crinkle ribbon from the Halloween bundle from my DL.ART shop, I also used "skittles" from my friend Carri's shop and I made it for the skittles challenge-- "monsters" how fun is that?  I used stickles in the eyes of the pumpkins

. I  Love the Graphics 45 papers and I just had to use red, after all it is Christmas. The local Scrapbook store did not have "Twas the night before Christmas" so I am using a collection from 2 years ago. It is almost gone, I may have to go into last years collection.


Here is the mojo sketch and my newest creation, I flipped it 90 degrees clockwise. To get my 1/16 of an inch border around all my paper cuts I used the perfect layers system

Hi Friends,

This is the first time in awhile I am making something that was just something I wanted to do without a challenge in mind, but then when I started, I realized my friend Janis had a tag challenge and I needed to make a tag for a card exchange.  Then, I really started having fun, I thought why not see how much stuff I can put on here and still have it be fun and not too messy looking.

So here is what I came up with. It is a tag but I layered it so it is thick, I folded the top piece over and then glued it together (so it opens), Then, I added faux stitching around the top portion, I added three paper flowers on top of the to from tag and some Christmas red stickles. I cut out a little nutcracker ballerina stamp and added a touch of liquid glass to the sparkle and three skittles from my friend Carri
dark and light purple ribbon from my friend Karen. The ink is cranberry from my CTMH store. The twine is trendy twine The little flower is part of the packaging off of Karen's ribbon. I also used the epiphany punch and bubble caps to add a little dimension and more shine. The to from stamp is from Michael's $1.00 bin. The designer cardstock is nutcracker paper from Graphics 45.  I also used a Sizzix large die  for the shape.

Today is going pretty quick but I really wanted to get this post in and enter the FCC challenge using a number. With Halloween around the corner and a pretty big event here in the US I thought I would make some mini card sets.. I used A frightful affair for the 31 I like the shape of it. I might have liked it a little bigger, but it gets the point across. I used PTI kraft card stock  for the base and for the strip I used AC card stock and the designer papers are Graphics 45 Steampunk Spells.

This graphics 45  "Place In Time"12 x 12 paper pad I have been using for the monthly challenge design is really beautiful, each month it has scenes that are relevant to that particular month and the season of the year.
This month is no different I will use this pad all year for the linky challenges.

I particularly like the vintage look of these papers. For my base I used  PTI Kraft  card stock and all the other papers are G-45.  I did use the viva pearl pen,  I have said it before I will say it again, I don't think anyone could make a mistake using this pen the pearls always come out looking great. Unless you do what I did over there in the right corner I got the pearls to close and they bled into each other, so before they dried I added the heart bead-- what a save!!!!  

I really like how it came out,  I just kept adding things,  I really had fun with this one.  I also added crystal stickles, because it just needed a little sparkle

The ribbon is vintage cream from Paper trey Ink. My card stock is Kraft from PTI . I love this paper it is 110 #, such a nice heavy weight
