MONDAY- GRILLIN & CHILLIN BLOG HOP

I finished the Grillin part of the Grillin' and Chillin' Blog hop,  and today I get to post my entry. Get on over to bugbites if you would like to enter and play along it is a lot of fun and there are a lot of amazing crafters/designers out there. This is my entry the patterned papers are from DCWV.  The images are cut from From My Kitchen. This was fun and easy and I really like it. I waited to post this until today and  am I glad I did.
I was looking through my cricut books last night and I realized I forgot the bug. This morning I got up and made the little guy This was the gingham I was going to use for my original idea, but my ideas change frequently as I  am processing the final design. Have a great memorial day.
Recipe:
5x7 card stock
the Bee is from Kate's ABC's
the bug is fom simply charmed
The cow and the BBQ are from my kithen
the papers are from DCWV
The sentiment is off my computer.

MORE -WEDNESDAY

For those of you who own a gypsy there is an update and it is pretty lengthy, so if you do the update, do it when you don't need to use your gypsy. It also includes the imagine app and update on there,  for those of you with the imagine.
I got Kate's ABCs today this was a tough cartridge to find. I got one at Joann's, lucky for me I called,  it was the last one they had so they held it for me. I'm working on something now I will post as soon as I finish.  It is really a cute cartridge--
I'm back  almost two hours later This had 5 layers and 24 pieces, plan on spending sometime, if you want to do this one.   She came out so cute, I made her in both dark and light complexion The sentiment was the easiest part. The stamp is from Autumn Leaves

I used the SEI stack that I got at my last Michael's haul

The images were cut at 3 1/2" and the card is 5x7
I'm doing 15 more of these I already have the images cut out.

This is such a cute cartridge. The image  is mounted on top of three layers of paper, each one gets a quarter of an inch larger as is mounted to the base

Leave a comment I always love to read them
