HI friends,

I made another card with the mojo sketch, I really like this sketch and I am going to try it each way I can. I need some Valentine's cars anyway. This is a good reason for me, not to mention I just got these stamps and I want to try them.

 The stamp set is from Verve " no matte what" vs 0185, The card base is PTI A2 stampers select. The designer paper I used is MME "FINE AND DANDY GIRL".
The ribbon is from my friend Karen at little scrap pieces.

I am treading water right now I just can't seem to get ahead.  This will be another quick post, sorry for that, but I will give you all the deets on it.

First of all this is the mojo sketch I followed:

I used PTI vintage cream for the base

I did the stitching with a blue ball point
All the images were printed and cut from the basic shapes cartridge that is installed in the imagine. For the patterned paper however I used notebook doodles. The sentiment is from Verve "remember this" stamp set.
the ribbon that is on top of the button, that is on top of the star, that is on top of the moon, is celebrations from Michael's. I love the way this card came out except for  the blue ball point pen, but then again I was going for a back to school kind of theme.  I liked school so going back to school in September was always a happy day for me.

Good Morning Friends,

This is October  and it is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I don't know if you all noticed for my post title yesterday  I put Breast Awareness month -- I decided I better go change that it probably meant something totally different.

Earlier in the summer I was telling you all, how we have temperatures in the 70's  and that is our norm?
Well, yesterday we hit 101 degrees. We are definitely not use to this kind of weather.  We do not have air conditioning, merely for that reason. Today we get a reprieve it should only get to 87.  To top it off I went to the gallery to hand deliver the art work and I parked in the wrong place. No, I didn't get a ticket, I just had a zillion stairs to climb up in the 101 degree weather. I probably needed the exercise, but I didn't need to do it in a sauna. 

I hope you enjoy this piece.

Last month I made a short video ( click here ) on making rosettes and at the time I knew I would be using them for this purpose. I will be making a BCA (Breast Cancer Awareness) card everyday for LUFP until the 14th.

I had fun with this card. The glitter is out now, and I'm trying to put a little sparkle in the lives of Breast cancer survivors.
