Hello  Everyone, 

Day 38 in the Shelter in Place order:

My mom is no longer on this earth, but when she was I always made her a card or some sort of art project for her birthday, Christmas and Mother's day.  I decided to take a trip down memory lane and pick one of my favorite projects I had made her for mother's day 7 years ago.  I still think it is very pretty and it was a compilation of three or four challenges at the time.
I had just discovered SVGcuts and I was on the creative inspirations paint design team. I wish they were still in business. Their products were great and still I have some still.

or other streaming formats?
I am watching reruns of star trek series. One a night 
Making ribbon,buttons, cards and filling orders.


I do believe the social distancing is the key!
Yes, I miss my friends, but not at the cost of others losing their lives.

As of this week it is mandatory to wear some sort of face mask while in businesses- I don't own one, but I am going to make one this week. I have ordered some fabric and plan on making a lot for our local hospitals-- just doing my part 

 STAY HOME! STAY SAFE!

  until May ?  (For now)

Can you believe there is only 4 more weeks of this year left?

A reminder on the changes for the challenges-
      To begin, the Themed challenges will now start on the first Thursday of the month and end on the last Thursday of the month. There will only be one DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE a month.
Every other month the challenge theme will be "Always Thankful" and on the others months it will have a "different theme"
The themes will be posted in the tab bar above so you will know ahead of time what they are. You can enter 2x per week

There will still be a DL.ART Monthly linky challenge with Anything goes, starting on the first day of the month and ending on the last. You can enter 1 x per day.

Using verve stamps and and old Mojo sketch from the past, scraps of paper. I love this butterfly.

I started to use that die again because it is so cool, but thought I would give you a blast from the past and share with you the first Thanksgiving card I posted on my blog in November of 2011

I want to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving.

I have so many things to be thankful for.  I am sure many of you do to, and I just hope you enjoy all your blessings today.

Last Sunday we celebrated 25 years of our pastor being with our church. I made this card for him. The reason I left the card at the bottom was so you could see what I did with the die cut hearts from the one below and two other cards that I have made with this die. I definitely will get value out of this die. It will be available until December. The DSP is AC.

The DSP is AC stay magical, the die is A Big Thank you from CTMH.   With a die like this you can make a quick easy card that is fab, Don't you just love it? I am going to be making quite a few cards this month with this die.

The paradise fire has been pretty devastating to so many. Paradise is a little over 200 miles north of us, the fire should be contained in another week. How sad it is over 153,000 acres burned, 84 deaths and 605 people still missing and 13,954 of homes burned and lots of animals found wandering and rescued and needing to be adopted the animal shelter in Butte county SPCA is full and Monterey SPCA has offered to help
I made this set of 24 rescue dog pins they are 1" the whole set is $20.00 plus shipping and I will donate $15.00 of each sale to Butte county SPCA until December 30

Happy Tuesday everyone.

I am posting today to help bring awareness of Domestic violence by supporting the  "Hop to stop Violence".   My friend Becca of damsel of distressed cards has a compelling story and illustrates it beautifully with her creativity.

My card is simple it is 2 different patterned papers, the image is from unity stamps. I used purple stickles on the butterfly and colored the butterfly  with purple copic markers.

Hi Again Friends,


We have about 5 more days of summer and fall will officially begin this Saturday.  I love summer, but I look forward to fall and I love it just as much.
The card  I made is a transition from summer to fall.  I have used a bright summer paper at the bottom and a fall styled paper at the top. For the  butterfly I used contrasting summer colors,I have the butterfly flying from summer into fall-- For my sentiment I used "What would I do without you... thanks!  from Inkadinkadoo set inked with  Jenni Bowlin Brown sugar.  To me that could depict summer, thanking summer for what it has given me.  The butterfly is from the Rock Princess cricut cartridge. Card stock PTI Kraft and print paper. Other DCWV I also used Creative inspiration paints (winter frost) on the star of the butterfly as stitching, it gives it a touch of iridescence. I used three layers of paper from my stash for the butterfly
