 Challenge #245 "SUMMER"


Happy Thursday Everyone,

Yesterday was really a fun day. I helped at church clearing out years of table cloths, candles, and other miscellaneous from Christmas teas, conferences and other various gatherings.  Basically it was folding reorganizing and tossing items of no use and getting some items cleaned.
There were quite a few of us helping and it is always fun to get together with such a great group of women.

Toward the afternoon one of our friends showed up with her 3 1/2 month old. She is so adorable and it was so nice to hold her little baby.

Here is my last summer card for this challenge...

The tree and adirondack chair are from AG, the thinking of you is from CTMH with pear ink.  I hope you love my project. I used Summer Lovin' from Carte Bella I love this paper pack.
The card measures 4.25 x 5.5.

The crinkle ribbon is from the Sweet Pea  bundle you can find it HERE
I used liquid glass to hold the acrylic domes to the top of the card.

Week #2
The DSP is from Echo Park Imagine that. The stamps and dies are from Joy Clair Seas the day I won this on their challenge last year I just love their stamps. I used copic markers, CTMH Thistle ink and Lawn fawn merman ink. The crinkle ribbon is from the DL.ART golden crinkle ribbon bundle. I really had a lot of fun with this card. It measures 4.25 x 5.5

Week #1

I used liquid glass to hold the acrylic domes to the bottom of the card  to add interest. I created a fun summer scene that reminds me of my everyday life.

Hi Everyone,

Happy Monday!!

I had a great weekend.  Went to church had communion and then did the tourist thing, went to the wharf for lunch.  I had fresh halibut from Santa Cruz, was it ever good. Then, basically was a slacker the rest of the day

This challenge is monochromatic with a pop of color. I used a pack of glitter paper that was a gift from a friend and DCWV metallic stack.  stamped images and cover plate die are from PTI garden gild.  The celebrate is from the birthday celebrations die set. I used generational stamping in the background, it came together very easily.

Happy Friday!!
Do mermaids exist? Or is it a fantasy? What does a mermaid do? where do they live?  There are so many theories. What do you think?

The closest I came to a mermaid was a few years ago when one of my friends directed "The little Mermaid" at one of our local colleges. Turned out, the mermaid Ariel was one of my other friends granddaughters, with a most beautiful voice.
