Hello Friends,

Thank you for coming by to look at the next DL.ART Thankful Thursday challenge. I really Love to make Thank you cards and most of all I love to give them.  I really want the people I know and care about, how thankful I am, they are in my life.

CHALLENGE: Any two colors of your choice, ribbon &  any kind of embossing
and leave a comment. You will have until June 30, 2012 11:59 to enter


For my card I used Ivory and black. The black satin ribbon is Offray . The Black & Ivory flourish and small dotted paper is Recollections from Michaels. The card stock is PTI. The embossing folder is from sizzix. I used a memory miser, corner rounder.

Isn't it fun when something so simple comes out so elegant, I like how it came out

Did you know father's day is this Sunday?

I am sure you all did because of the vast amount of fathers day cards out there. Anyway here is another one.  I think these are so fun to make. We just do not have enough Guy cards in the stash. This week it has been restocked

I have been wanting to use this cartridge, because I haven't used it in awhile. The paper is from DCWV and the image is from Campin' Critters. Card stock PTI

JUNE 12, 2012***TUESDAY*** MISSION IMPOSSIBLE AND MORE.

Hi Friends,


I thought this was the perfect day to do this post. This was a fun project I incorporated the help of my neighbor who is a print maker and this is a print of his son on Japanese rice paper  then I sewed it to a piece of kraft card stock and added it to the card. This was the Mission Impossible over at Krafty girls blog challenge

 The embellishments are from SHOP PUMPKIN SPICE and I chose not to use  a sentiment and just the one image to enter  in another challenge.

I got all my imagine cartridges registered and linked to my gypsy.  Tonight I will finish putting the reward codes in. In the future I will register and put the rewards in as I get them.  That should save a lot of time.

JUNE 11,2012***MONDAY*** ICE CREAM AND BUTTERFLIES

Hi Friends,

Ice cream and butterflies always remind me of summer.  Summer is right around the corner, I love the longer days, getting up  early and staying up late and having more light to do the things  I like to do.

This may be my last post for today, I am not sure I am on a roll here.
I will be entering this in a few challenges:
These colors are so bright and cheerful and I used copic markers, copic multiliner and  a gold gel and roll pen. The you're cool stamp is from My Pink Stamper Lunchbox thought set. The papers are MME fine and Dandy girl.

JUNE 11, 2012 ***MONDAY*** Christmas in June?

Hi Again Friends,


What Am I thinking?

It is 94 degrees out according to my computer I don't think that means where I am,  I think we are more like 80,  inland could be that warm. I am going through scraps and also cleaning house registering cartridges and working on more projects. That is what I do on Mondays. Oh got on the bike to, 1/2 hour, not bad.

Here is the Christmas card. The sentiment is from MY Pink Stamper winter treats and sayings, I just love this stamp set any time of year.  The cricut cut is the tree from the basic imagine shapes. My papers are DCWV and PTI,  the fabric is Robert Kaufman  Batik, the little bird is made using my latest tool by epiphany punches. I used a Fiskars  wood grain texture plate for brown leafy paper. The texture is easier to see on a side view 

 I really like the soft look of this, very comforting colors.
This is a 5x7 card

JUNE 11, 2012***MONDAY*** HUGS & KISSES

Good Afternoon Friends,

Mojo Monday-- I love to get my artsy Mojo going on Monday , and I am always inspired not only by the sketch, but by the Design team and the other entries.  Mondays are one of my favorite days , other than my other 6 favorite days.
For this card, the papers I used are  from my minds eye fine and dandy girl, the banners are basic grey and my card stock is vanilla cream from PTI. The rose images are from Loris Garden Cricut image cartridge  topped of with white opal liquid pearls. The sentiment Hugs & kisses from My Pink Stamper from Lunch Box thoughts stamped with Jenni Bowlin Brown sugar ink.
