Good Morning Friends,

Can you believe this month is almost half way over? It will be Christmas before you know it. My question to you -- Are you going to make your Christmas cards ahead of time like now or are you going to wait until the last minute? If you want to think about that one How is this - What is the weather like where you are right now?
It is 8:00 am here and we are at 41 and our high today will be 47
I made this fun birthday card, because, well you know, you can never have enough. I used PTI stamps, card stock and ink along with some Jenni Bowlin inks.

The sentiment is in Ripe avocado
the flowers are in lemon drop chicken feed and terra cotta tile the centers of the flowers are in classic kraft and the leaves are in seed packet and stick candy. I am getting hungry just writing this post. Those colors all sound so yummy. This may look a bit out of focus but that is the idea, the technique is called generational stamping. I actually had to add the centers of the flowers and keep them still just to have some stability to the card along with the sentiment being in focus
Supplies
cardstock: PTI stampers select and fine linen
stamp set:: Beautiful blooms
ink: PTI terra cotta tile, ripe avocado
jenny bowlin chicken feed lemon drop, seed packet and stick candy

  1. This is beautiful, Diana!! The flowers look amazing!! I love the colors!! I will wait until the last minute to make my Christmas cards...even if I say I'll do them earlier, I always end up stressed at the last minute :) Hard to believe, but it's 50 here right now!! Woohoo!! But it is supposed to get cold again in a couple of days. Have a great day :)

  9. Diana, this is a burst of sunshine for the heart! :o) I love the generational stamping effect with these flowers.. it adds such dimension and also brings visions of the flowers swaying in a warm summer's breeze. :o) (Instead of the cold and snow that's around me!) This is a truly gorgeous creation for the future birthday girl. Beautifully designed, as always. :o)

    Hugs and blessings!
