Hi Friends,
I hope your ready for the fourth of July celebrations  coming up next weekend-  check out my challenge and get some ideas from  the entries

DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #112

THEME:   PATRIOTIC

The papers I used are  AC card stock and DCWV and the cricut cartridge I used is Stand and Salute.

That is from memory because I made this card 2 years ago.

I spent two hours with the silhouette this evening and nothing seemed to come out the way I wanted it to and I really needed to get to bed, I was so super tired.
Because this is one of my old cards I won't be entering this in any challenges, but I may case it tomorrow and enter it in something. I hope you like the card even though it is old and I hope I have inspired you to enter the challenge.

The challenge will be open until 11:55 PST  July 9, 2013.
3 entry limit

Good Evening Friends,

I have spent a lot of the day cleaning my art studio, it has been awhile--- need I say more.

So just like everyone else as soon as it gets cleaned up it is time to get working in it again.
I love the Bitten by the Bug 2 challenges and this one is the best one yet honoring our troops/emergency personnel.
My colors aren't your usual red white and blue, but I like how it came out and I think the message gets across pretty well.  I used the stand and salute cartridge for everything and "Enjoy the seasons " for my color palette. AC card-stock

Challenges:
BBTB2:  In Honor
FCC: planes, trains and autos
Exploring Cricut: include a person
Sunday Funday: AG

MORE---- THURSDAY- 7 CHALLENGES

Hi all, I told you I would be back with another post.

This is a Fathers day card-- I know there are a lot of challenges out there for this theme right now, but I made This specifically  for design team 1 over at Celebrate the Occasion first and foremost. Then, I will go look for other challenges to enter it in.
This card was so much fun to make. I made it at the Northern CA. Circle, my new friend Courtney Lee let me look through her button jar from her PTI stash,  and this is the button I chose. I must say that is really a cute jar those buttons come in . The variety of buttons in that little jar is amazing.  The twine was my idea, but I was going to place it higher and she suggested lower. It is really nice getting together and designing with others who share your interests. I hope you like the final card- oh surprise inside too --- The guys in there only smaller.
This paper is fantastic,  it is Nantucket from the DCVW  latest release.

I can not wait to use it again.  The card stock base is A2 PTI

Support the Cause Challenge

http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/
I knew I wanted to enter this challenge, there is always some cause to support. Today I chose to support the breast cancer awareness cause, because I have had so many friends and relatives with Breast cancer. I thought this card would be nice to have available next time I hear of another diagnosis.  I think I might just make a few more to, sadly to say they will probably be used, unless we find a cure.
