  DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY
 CHALLENGE # 298 "Mother's day"

Happy Thursday!

This is a digital design. I always think pink when I think of Mother's day or my mom. Pink is a soft sweet color and that is how my mother was.  It has been four years now and not a day goes by I do not think of her. I miss her very much and I hope you will add your project to this challenge and tell me a little bit about your mom.

My is made from core-dinations paper and graphics 45 was designer paper.
I added brads at the handle
3M  adhesive to connect it all
they are time consuming, but well worth it
What do you think?

  1. This is just lovely Diana! I don't know if I will be making any Mother's Day cards this year but I sometimes send one to my sisters. My mother passed away in 2013, and I helped care for her the last 2 years of her life. She only needed assistance with things like shopping and doctor's appointments etc, so we were still able to chat about things and enjoy time together. My mom raised four children, while also babysitting a few regulars in our home. She also had part-time jobs typing envelopes and letters for businesses. Everything had to be done at home, as my dad worked full-time and the four of us kept her very busy. She did Japanese brush painting, sewing, needlework, and made our Halloween costumes from scratch every year. Once the kids all left the home, she taught needlework classes and won blue ribbons at the Orange County fair nearly every year. I got my love of crafting from my mom and think of her each time I sit down to create.
