DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY  CHALLENGE # 304 "Summer Fun"

Happy Thursday!

Are you enjoying your summer?
When you think of summer projects or cards what comes to mind?

I think of the beach, swimming pools, pool parties and just all around outside fun and lots of noise from happy children playing.

Bike riding, kids running with their dogs or playing tag, chasing butterflies and laying in the sun.

I could go on and on, but I would like to hear what reminds you of summer or inspiration for your summer project.

Some of you know that we live in a tourist city, we have a board walk with a wooden roller coaster, which is in the top ten wooden rollercoasters in the world. I love riding it, It is fabulous.  Do you like thrill rides?

Here is my card i hope you like it and are inspired to make a fun summer project

Base: 110# card stock
G45 Paper  fussy cut and that is it.

What are you working on now? Are you making  cards, projects, cooking, sewing?

  1. No thrill rides for me! I've ridden the old wooden roller coaster at the Santa Cruz boardwalk, but that was years and years ago. The ride was wilder than I expected and a definite experience that I still remember! As for summer memories, I prefer the more sedate ones that include relaxing with an iced tea or double scoop ice cream cone, ha!

  2. Your summer card is adorable, Diana, and I love this summer theme! Thank you for the challenge! I think of picnics when I think of summer so I made some picnic cards. Yes, I am enjoying the summer but these past couple weeks have been very, very hot! We don't have central air-conditioning so you can imagine how bad it can get. We have one small a/c in the living room so at least that room is comfortable. In any event, we've had a few cool mornings so I was able to do some crafting in my craftoom! Happy summer to you!
