I have some more great news to share with all of you.
I am so honored to be Robyn’s of My Pink Stamper, guest designer (first ever) for January 2012. First, Robyn was the main sponsor of my blog hop on New Year’s Day and then, I‘m asked to be guest designer. Whoot! Whoot! Is my year starting off good.
I know that Robyn’s birthday is next week, ( it is actually tomorrow I typed this up last week)so I decided to make her birthday card and present for this spot. Here they are.
I used Mothers day Bouquet to make the flowers and Blossom (IC) for the patterned paper. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper’s “Lunch Box Thoughts”
The ink is Jenni Bowlin Brown sugar.
I used the Create-a Critter, and the Blossom (IC) pattern cartridge for this card. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper “That’s Punny-licious”
This is a 5x7 card. The hippo is cut at 3”, the birdie @1” and the two ewes @ 2.
I just love the way this came out.
I used Jenni Bowlin stick candy ink and the googly eyes are darice.
I made this mini beaded match book album, with all of Robyn’s favorite things.
The journal tags are stamped with the sentiments from MY Pink Stamper“That’s punny–licious.” Stamp set the images on the tags are from the Nursery tails cartridge. Happy Birthday Robyn!—I can’t surprise her now.
I hope all of you enjoyed my projects for the guest designer spot at Robyn’s, MY PINK STAMPER.
For those of you who want to see how I put the card together and a little more info about the stamps and materials used. Please go over to The Pink Stamper, I made a video it is over there on her site today.
I made the video last week. I shipped the goods to her, she probably has them already. Tomorrow is her birthday, make sure to wish her a Happy Birthday and let her know I sent you.
Thank you for joining in on my first ever Blog Hop and 1 year anniversary of my blog DL.ART, which is known as a Blogaversary. It all started when I thought there must be a better way to make cards than always cutting these images out with scissors, my quest for the best pair of scissors ended when I started doing research on die cuts. I could not believe it when the Cricut create came out I had to have it. First I needed to know how to use it.
I came across a funny lady on the internet by the name of Robyn of MY Pink Stamper. Her videos were so funny I laughed so hard, sometimes, but they were also informative. She also had her side kick Karlee (BFF) with her and between the two of them, they made the decision/learning process easy and fun for me.
Six months after I had the create I knew I needed to upgrade to the expression, because with the purchase of the tags, bags boxes and more cartridge. The images were cut too small to be useful on the 6x12 mat.
My next addition was the gypsy-- I don't leave home without it. The imagine and the expression2 came at about the same time. I had ordered the Expression 2 from HSN and a couple days later I saw the Imagine at a price I just could not pass up. I use them all and sometimes, they are going at the same time --- I am surprised I haven't blown a fuse yet.
The latest thing I have ventured into, is the Cricut craft room. I even cut part of my project out and then it stopped --I think there is a software glitch, hopefully by the time you read this post, it will be worked out.
Last year on January 1st, I decided that my goal for the year would be to start a blog and post every day. I did it!!! and then some. Some days I posted more than 3 times, and over the year 2011, I have posted _625__ times. I don't know what got into me
I really was not sure I would be able to keep up with the blog due to trips, the computer mishaps and even with my blog becoming disabled at one point. I have to say this has been a fun year and I value each and everyone of you, not just as followers, but friends. I follow a lot of you and I consider myself your friend. The most exciting part about this blog hop to me is, that this funny Lady that helped me learn to use my Cricut is the main SPONSOR of my blog hop. I am so thrilled. Thank you Robyn-- alias MY PINK STAMPER.
Through out the hop there will be designers, that will have words, that are clues to the project, that you will need, to be able to decipher what the challenge is: you will have until January 6, 11:59 PST to link up, for a chance to win the Sweet tooth boxes cartridge.
You know I love coffee, What better way to say thank you, than to give Thank You Coffee Cards. This card was so super easy. I used imagine more cards (IC) I sized it to 3". I changed the red hearts to pink, pressed auto-fill. The imagine printed and cut 9 of this image from a 12 x12 sheet of Bazzill white card stock and then I just glued them on PTI new leaf card stock. EASY PEASY!
Because I am giving away the sweet tooth boxes cartridge I thought it only fitting to make a project from this super cool cartridge.
Here are all the 2012 New years day projects I did. I hope you like them and thank you for joining in. I truely appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
Please leave a comment on each designers blog's today January 1st , for the chance to win the prize that Robin from My Pink Stamper is donating. You will have until Jan 2nd midnight to leave a comment I will be picking the winner on Jan3rd
A surprise My Pink Stamper package valued at $60
You will have until January 6th 11:59 to come back to my blog DL.ART and leave another comment letting me know you have linked up a project for the Cricut sweet tooth cartridge that I am giving away. You will have to link up a new project (made for this challenge) for a chance to win this cartridge..
Be sure and have fun! There are a lot of goodies along the way not mention wonderful inspiration from some awesome designers and bloggy buddies of mine. I could not have done this hop without them or all of you. If you get lost the list is at the bottom of everyone post. You can always start back here or any where you left off.
If reading all of that is too much for you Here is a video of my 1st Blogaversary projects
I have had this Pooh and Friends cartridge for a year and have never used it, thanks for the Pixar Blog hop I was able to use it. I entered this in the link-up block hop over at Disney Dreamer Designs. This is piglet I think he is pretty cute. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper Punny-licious. I used the imagine for all the printed paper. The ribbon is Offray grosgrain
