Good Morning Friends,

It is design team day over at Bitten by the Bug 2

Our Design team sister Brenda has chosen as the Theme of our challenge this week "Easter "  After you look at my post be sure to go over to the rest of the BBTB2 design teams blogs and see and learn how they did their projects.
I have to tell you a funny story.  First of all here is a question... Did you ever notice how my team mate  Brenda and I call ourselves twins?  Here is how that came about... check out Brenda's blog background.  One day I changed my blog background and I had no idea it was the same as hers. When I went to her blog I thought I was still at mine and when she came over to mine, she thought she was still at hers (sounds like a Dr. Seuss story coming up, huh?  As the story goes. Every time I would enter the challenge she would say she almost used the same cricut cut. Now, today funny thing is, we did not use the same cut but they do look similar and they are both from Cricut card cartridges. I think it is fun having a blog twin.  I also think it is really nice having a wonderful team that is just like a family. Just like all the teams I have been on.

I made a few of these

Aren't they adorable? This is the only one I embellished. I like the contrast on this one, but I have to get them in the mail today so they make it to their destination. Happy Easter Week everyone!

Supplies used:
Spring Holiday cards- Cricut cartridge
Nursery tails -Imagine cartridge

MARCH 29, 2012***THURSDAY***DL.ART THANKFUL THURSDAY CHALLENGE......***

Good Morning Friends,

I was thinking how interesting it was how the Thankful Thursday challenge evolved.  I started it the first week of November preparing my heart to be Thankful with Thanksgiving coming up. This is not to say that I was not Thankful on a daily basis anyway.   I just thought it would be fun to try out a challenge and who would have thought it would turn out to be this much fun and a reminder of how truly blessed we all our. So -- next week begins the sixth month.
Here is the challenge:
3x3 calling card use my card as inspiration

Here is my take on it:
On the back: you put any info about your self, that you want the recipient to have.
I made a little scene for mine. I made 42 of these to exchange with the circle group on Friday.
That should be a lot of fun.

You will have 16 days to enter this challenge , it will close on April 14th @11:59

I used AC card stock
stickles
 Liquid pearls
glossy accent to hold the ribbon on
MY smash stamp I love that thing

I think it is pretty fun looking.
springy and Easter.

Have a blessed day, Diana

I pray that each and everyone of you have something to be thankful for.

JANUARY 23, 2012***MY PINK STAMPER FIRST EVER GUEST DESIGNER***

Hi Friends,
I have some more great news to share with all of you.

I am so honored to be Robyn’s of My Pink Stamper, guest designer (first ever) for January 2012.  First, Robyn was the main sponsor of my blog hop on New Year’s Day and then, I‘m asked to be guest designer. Whoot! Whoot! Is my year starting off good.
I know that Robyn’s birthday is next week, ( it is actually tomorrow I typed this up last week)so I decided to make her birthday card and present for this spot. Here they are.

I used Mothers day Bouquet to make the flowers and Blossom (IC) for the patterned paper. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper’s “Lunch Box Thoughts”
The ink is Jenni Bowlin Brown sugar.

I used the Create-a Critter, and the Blossom (IC) pattern cartridge for this card. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper “That’s Punny-licious”
This is a 5x7 card. The hippo is cut at 3”, the birdie @1” and the two ewes @ 2.
I just love the way this came out.
I used Jenni Bowlin stick candy ink and the googly eyes are darice.

I made this mini beaded match book album, with all of Robyn’s favorite things.
The journal tags are stamped with the sentiments from MY Pink Stamper “That’s punny–licious.” Stamp set the images on the tags are from the Nursery tails cartridge. Happy Birthday Robyn!—I can’t surprise her now.
I hope all of you enjoyed my projects for the guest designer spot at Robyn’s,  MY PINK STAMPER.
For those of you who want to see how I put the card together and a little more info about the stamps and materials used. Please go over to The Pink Stamper, I made a video it is over there on her site today.

I made the video last week.  I shipped the goods to her, she probably has them already. Tomorrow is her birthday, make sure to wish her a Happy Birthday and let her know I sent you.

Thank you and have a blessed day, Diana

Sunday Evening-

Hi Everyone,
I seem to be getting in the swing of things, as far as posting and Provo Craft corrected the problem with the imagine not recognizing the cricut carts.  I did all the updates today and so far everything I have tried has worked I need to visit some of you tomorrow- I definitely need to get to the gym, I did a  lot of sitting and eating, but I would not trade it for anything. It was great seeing my family.
All papers are PTI (spring moss, leaf prints), except for the little Nursery Tails image of the deer, which is printed on AC card stock. The ribbon is sheer apple green and the sentiment is from Studio g.  This is a very simple A2 card. I did some layering with  4 different patterns which gives it a more intricate look.
I'm entering this into
Whimsical Wednesday:Fall- must include an animal
Craft Creations Challenge: FALL

I love how this turned out I hope you do to.
